So why did god only start to 'talk' to Jesus 2000 years ago. What was he doing from the period he 'created' the earth till Jesus' time? Or is this just another example of how ludicrous the whole bible religion story is?

Everything in the Bible has a timeline. Before God created Man, we just don't know how old the earth is, but science can give us a rough estimate. After, the bible begins with the Prophecies. In Genesis he stated that the 'seed' would come, later on he promised Abraham that the messiah would come from him, in Daniel he actually sets the time frame for when Jesus would arrive. It had to be a time when the whole inhabited earth spoke the same language. Greek. After Alexander the Great took over everything, the ground was prepared for the 'Good News' which Jesus came to preach. The Bible is very faithful to the previous books in the OT. God is timeless, the way I understand it is that there is no past or future with God. There is only the NOW. In our human state of mortality, our hundred years or less on this planet, make us think of twenty years a LONG time.

The Earth is more than 2 billion years old. The earth was not made in a matter of seven days...I don't care waht the bible says. Nothing in that book is really true. Adam and Eve...a lie. Moses...I mean come ON! And Noah's Ark? Don't believe anything in that book of lies. It is the most blood soaked book in the world and is still the cause of wars in countries.

you havent read your Bible have you? Did He not speak to Adam and Eve when they sinned? Did He not speak to Moses? Did He not speak through the prophets. Read your bible first, then come back and ask questions that you need answered.

There is neither beginning nor end. It is constant flux of changes. If there is a beginning, what was before the beginning? How did it all begin if there was nothing before it began? If there is an end, what will remain after that?
