I don't believe in it, personally, but if Christianity is the truth, nothing physical will have any bearing on them, at that time. Their souls will be "raptured", and their bodies will fall dead. It wouldn't matter if they were locked in a car, a cage, a small room, or in a figurative sense, in their own tiny, tiny minds. (Good thing, too)

It's pretty difficult to get locked INSIDE a car isn't it, though my ex-gf DID. I guess when the rapture comes (chuckle) that they better make sure their windows are down or the sunroof (if equipped) is open. I guess that when it does happen that G-d will make sure that it's a bright sunny and warm day so that all the faithful will be driving with their windows down, sunroofs open and the lucky ones who own convertibles will have their tops down!

Of course when it does happen I suppose those called will receive a signal like a text message or e-mail (Message from G-d in the subject heading so it will get past spam filters). I don't think the almighty will have time to telephone everyone as the long-distance charges would be expensive, even for him!

With my luck I'll be trapped in a porta-potty on some construction site and miss the trip. I wonder if there is a 'second chance' or 'straggler' rapture? Think about it, you're trapped in a refrigerator or wherever and missed the first bus, what do you do? Yeah I know it's gonna be the coach flight with peanuts and no in-flight movie but how are you gonna get on it?

G-d is a smart guy (and I know I'll burn for this response) but he's gotta have some kind of contingency plan for 'cool' people -right? You know, people that make him laugh who think that most people waiting on the rapture are a bunch of idiots!

If there are any car dealers out there, I'm looking for a convertible, starting TOMORROW, you may e-mail me for details but don't put "Message from G-d" in the subject heading!

Don't worry RiotGirl! The Almighty will fix that. By the way, there is no secret rapture, if that's what you are refering to. When Jesus comes back all will see him coming. And if you happen to be in the car when that happens and the door is locked it will be opened. He that can read your thoughts in the midst of all your billions of brain cells, he knows the code to your car door. No problem, don't worry.
