I disagree. I believe in the importance of not believing, but rather, thinking. If one goes to school and a schoolteacher writes information, you obviously see it, no? And what if you hear arguing on the other side of a wall, and go to check? You're moving to SEE, right? Am I making sense?

I make sense by pontificating what I feel is perceptible. Seeing feeds feeling, yeah?

I agree. I use the example of the Mona Lisa. We can see the painting, but can we see Leonardo Da Vinci? No. Can we find one person on earth who has seen him? No. We refer to books to find out about a person, who scientifically speaking can't be proven to ever walked the earth. We take it on faith that these books are correct, that history was not altered etc. I agree that 'feeling' is in fact the major element in believing something. Everybody has it, however not many cultivate anymore or stifle it.

Its about neither...its the work of God alone.
Salvation comes from His work entirely and nothing in ourselves. The Holy Spirit inhabits the believer, brings them to Christ, and transforms them through the Scriptures.

"Feelings" derive from ourselves....they are not proof of anything.

Be aware of rejecting reality and embracing feelings as superior...this is Gnostism and is not a Christian view. (Not that you are necesssarily doing that).

So does that then apply that we should not believe in the Bible because we SEE the words?

Or that we should only believe in half of what we HEAR about Jesus?

Oh yes, and some crazy people hear voices, and others FEEL bugs on them that aren't there and flip out...but I'm sure those people are fine and correct in what they believe they feel and hear.

Yes, but you will know them by their fruits. Meaning the way they talk and act. Always try the spirit to see if it is of God. Never take their word for it.

I would agree. Cause I am never gonna see it, so I should be able to feel it.
Obviously I cant feel it. It escapes me.
Agnostic.

Then, is it about feeling or hearing? Try to trust what you hear as little as possible.

Oh great a pretentious meaningless quote. I must go out and buy a bible and pretend there's a man in the sky looking after us.

It's not about you, it's not about me, it is all about the Lord.

I believe only in that which is unseen.
