Jerusalem is mentioned over 800 times in the Bible. There are 657 references in the Tanakh and 154 references in the New Testament. YET JERUSALEM IS NOT EVEN MENTIONED ONE TIME IN THE KORAN!!!
The only time the Muslims have been interested in Jerusalem and the Temple Mount is when Jews are in control of them.

Christians wronged the Jews so they took Muslim land and gave it to the Jews as compensation while thousands of Muslims got nothing for the land taken.

Wow, that type of justice is really going to bring peace.........

i know so many creationists but none of them ever speak of dinosaurs not being alive. dinosaurs and humans did not ever coexist, so for those of you who are relgious, what is your take on dinosaurs. i persoanally beleive in evolution as it is the only logical explanation, and i totally believe in dinouaurs. so my question is.. how can you not? what evidence do you posses that they did not exist. what evidence do you have that all of those bones and fossils arn't real. anyone please answer regardless of your beliefs and give me and answer. i have always been confused on this situation and i am dieing to know how someone can not beleive in the theory of evolution and thus the existence of dinosaurs. thanks!

At Noah's Flood, our Loving God, Jehovah, exterminated all in a mighty Genocide, all including the beautiful animals; except for a few. In Genesis 9:6; the peace-loving God, Jehovah, says: Anyone shedding man's blood, by man will his own blood be shed, for in God's image he made man. Well his image seems little of worth, for shortly after, at Numbers 31, Jehovah, commands the murder of all boys, men, and non-virgins, and the Gang Rapings of 32,000 baby virgins. How do we harmonize these 2 acts of love affairs, and, does God suffer under Alzheimer, seeing he forgets that fast?

maybe we should learn christains a little about LOVE ,it seems they are not familiar with it at all !

I just seen a reply to a question from Debra M , calling her a fake and phoney , saying she has a diseased mind etc
because she is loving and positive
I have seen similar repsonses to my own posts and to others who try to lighten things up in here
does it seem unlikely that there are genuinely nice people in this world ?
why do these sort of questions make people doubt a persons motive ?
do people in general see only negative in this world ?

With all the examples of powerful women associated with Jesus: His own mother, Mary and Martha, Mary of Magdalen, and the many powerful women of the early church, as found in acts: Phoebe the Deaconess is the most significant. Why is it that the Catholic church will not let women become priests. Have you ever wanted to be a priest? What's your experience, thoughts, comments

Are they just being stubborn?

I have often heard the statement made: "We are born as atheists." But the way i see it, atheism is a conscious choice......an informed decison. When you are just born, your conscience is not yet developed, and you are incapable of making decisions. So basically, you cannot be born an atheist because you have not made a choice.........you simply don't know anything, and therefore you can't believe anything!

It is only when you grow older, and you are exposed to both sides of the story......only then do you consciously choose the path of Theism or Atheism. If someone grows up with absolutely no knowledge or concept of the existence of God or religion, then he obviously will not believe in God or religion, because he has not been exposed to such concepts. Yet, he cannot be an atheist because there is no choice factor. In fact, he can't be an agnostic either, because that too involves informed choice.

What do you think?

I personally think so, but am interested in hearing other people's opionions

I mean almost ever organized religon condems homosexuality, so isn't it a given that there will be some people of that faith that discriminate/hate homosexuals just because their religon tells them too

Fundamentalism in any religon is dangerous, but in some religons people refrain from even associating themselves with anyone who is not of their religon.

I personally am an atheist, and just feel that other atheists are just more accepting of other people and don't judge people as harsely as religous types....

But I could be wrong.....

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance for any responses.

It makes no sense to me. I was reading a question earlier posted by someone that listed like 10 things and it asked if we believed in them and what denomination we were. The differences were so small and i don't understand why we argue so much over those small things.

One example (I'm not trying to offend, this is just a personal example) is Church of Christ. They believe that to be saved you have to be baptized through water and when I try to talk about my beliefs (I'm baptist and i don't think that you have to be baptized to be saved but we are commanded to be baptized) they don't listen and just treat me like I'm wrong.

I am VERY open-minded when it comes to interpretations about the Bible and i won't say anyone is completely wrong unless it is something that is just outright stupid (like the devil is God). So i just don't understand why other people believeing in the same God can't see where others are coming from and will think they are completely wrong and that their. .

While some of us may be brainwashed, it's kind of immature to assume that if a person is religious, it's because they were brainwashed to be that way.

So why do some people believe that, even when there are many people who disprove that "rule"?
