Because Christians are hypocrites. I love it when Mother Teresa would tell peasants to pray for God to heal them while she received the world's best medical treatment.

God heals and God made the Doctors who prescrible the medicine and the Doctors who make the medicine. God is pretty busy and didnt want us to hurt too long in between. God heals in his own timing and in his own way so the meds. are for the times we wait on the lord for his answers of healing to help us with pain.

haha. the medicine is what heals you. God isn't walking the earth healing random people from sickness. God works through people like scientists to help as many people as possible through things like medication. It's like that joke with the guy who is stranded in the ocean and a boat comes by and they ask him if he wants to get on and he says no God will save me. and another come and another and he rejects them. then he dies and goes to heaven where he asks God why He didn't save him and God says he tried, he sent three boats (i'm not good at telling jokes but the story of the joke is what relevant, maybe someone else can say it better hahaha). It's the same thing with medicine =] With prayer, we can get the strength to get through illnesses and to be healed but medicines are an indirect way that God touches our lives.

God. Take meds for the little things like colds and flus because God inspired the design and motivation to make those medicines, and leave the big stuff like cancer to the mercy of God.

All healing has been paid for by Jesus. The bible tells us, by His stripes we are healed. If a person doesn't have enough faith, or time they can take meds and not feel guilty. Ive been healed from God with prayer and from meds, but its still because of the price Jesus paid.

Generally it's your body that does the healing. Medicine generally counteracts healing except in rare exceptions. A small portion of medications actually promotes the healing process. Most medicines only promote Eli Lilly and the other drug pushers.

With all the meds that are out there and the side affects,
It's God, especially when it comes to cancer, because with all
the money going into cancer reasearch. Nowone is going to
kill the goose that lays the "golden"egg.

exactly....nowhere does it say that meds are a cure for anything...they just mask the pain or discomfort!
