At Noah's Flood, our Loving God, Jehovah, exterminated all in a mighty Genocide, all including the beautiful animals; except for a few. In Genesis 9:6; the peace-loving God, Jehovah, says: Anyone shedding man's blood, by man will his own blood be shed, for in God's image he made man. Well his image seems little of worth, for shortly after, at Numbers 31, Jehovah, commands the murder of all boys, men, and non-virgins, and the Gang Rapings of 32,000 baby virgins. How do we harmonize these 2 acts of love affairs, and, does God suffer under Alzheimer, seeing he forgets that fast?

(James 1:13) For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone.

Hmmmm, I reread Numbers 31, and I don't see anything about gang rapings. As for your scrutiny, and the real reason for your question, it is easier to nit-pick at the Bible than to give in to the bounty God has set before you.

First, the world was so filled with the filth of man and those who were agains God that the only ones He could find that loved and honored Him were Noah and his family. That is why. In your reference to Numbers 31, there is mention of purification by water. After the flood, the world was once again purified by whater. Numbers 31 was not "shortly" after the flood. It may have been only a few pages later in the Bible, but it wasn't shortly after.

With Moses' story in Numbers 31, the people that were to be destroyed were once again corrupt and did evil in God's sight. God in His Holiness has to cast out sin. God never changed his mind on that.

I am familiar with many bibles and their text yet have never come across the "Gang Rapings of 32,000 baby virgins". Perhaps the bible you are using is flawed - you may want to look for another.

MOST STORIES IN THE BIBLE ARE PARABLES OR SYMBOLIC. YOU TOTALLY MISSED THE MESSAGE. ITS LIKE ASKING WHY DO WE HOLD GEORGE WASHINTON IN SUCH HIGH ESTEEM WHEN WE KNOW HE CHOPPED DOWN AN INNOCENT APPLE TREE FOR NO GOOD REASON. FIRST OF ALL ITS JUST A PARABLE AND THE GREATOR LESSON IS TO BE TRUTHFUL. ONE ALSO HAS TO KEEP IN MIND GOD DIDN'T WRITE THE BIBLE. MANY OF THE WRITERS WERE NOT THAT SPIRITUALLY ENLIGHTENED AND PROBABLY COULDN'T COMPREHEND MUCH OF WHAT WAS BEING CONVEYED TO THEM. ENTER JESUS TO TRY AND STRAIGHTEN OUT THE RECORD.

These wise words of Jesus, they are for questions like yous:

"Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you" (Matthew 7:6).

I believe in God but do not read the bible. Man wrote the bible not Jesus.

"Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye." - Luke 6:42 KJV

Use the "BIBLE" - King James Version 1611 or Authorized Version....
