I have a myspace page.. I got it when my children were interested in creating pages and I wanted to investigate the site for myself... My page is blank except for my two children as contacts..
Both of my older children (19 and 17) have pages I regularly monitor the pages making sure there is nothing on them that could lead to an internet preditor knowing too much about them and where they are.. Our house rule is "If Mom says delete it, it gets deleted." Haven't run into any problem in 2 years with my kids...
I use IM occassionally with family and friends but not on a regular basis.. I prefer e-mails..

I IM on yahoo, but I don't use myspace. I got too many people linking to me who were on the make, and I am not interested. Too many pictures of people in bikinis and speedos.

Hooked up IM one time, didn't know what was happening, turned that thing off.
