We pray to One Who created the universe, who comprehends the every atom in it all at once. When you can do that, let us know.
Egiptian, you have grossly misunderstood Psalm 82. When that was written, many Eastern rulers claimed divinity. The psalm warns them they will die like other men and be judged, so they ought to seek the same justice and clemency they would hope to receive, themselves. Read the notes in any study bible on Psalm 82.

I believe in a grand plan and I believe life teaches us everything we need to know. So will become our own gods? Only if the God We Pray To Allows It...

I guess it depends on who you pray to. I pray to God, and I know perfectly well I'm not going to become a god. Lucky for me I don't want to be one.

What weird language was THAT???
If I understand you right, the answer is no, unless you're a Moron... er... Mormon.
Christians believe we are REFLECTIONS,or images, of God.
There's a difference.
