I know many openly gay people and it seems that their relationships never last. I was just curious.

My grandmother said she saw her mother after she died and said she was doing ok and then went away. Does this happen a lot or could it have been in her mind? Why and how does this happen, if you know?

Straight is the path
Leading to your salvation
Slaying the weak
Ethnic elimination

Any day we'll all be
Swept away
You'll be saved
As long as you obey

I have studied the bible in depth and found that most people who claim to be Christians don't live like Christ. The bible teaches that we should follow the example of Christ who "did no sin" (1 Peter 2:21-22). The bible also forbids people who claim to be forgiven to continue in sin (Romans 6:1-2). The bible says people who sin are of the devil (1 John 3:8) yet so many people who claim to be Christians say they sin every day. I have personally found that when I gave my all to Christ I could stop sin. So if God can give me grace to live above sin why do people, mostly Christians" tell me I can't do what I'm already doing?

Why is it when something bad happens we blame our loving God instead of the devil, For isn't the devil a God as well. Just not the almighty God, Should we not say The Devil took my baby. The Devil seperated my family. And to our loving should we not thank him for all the wonderful things in life. As in for giving us life. for providing food on earth, mostly for still loving all of us after all what man kind has done to the earth and each other?

what happens after we die? Is there heaven or hell? What do the taoists or pantheists believe? Or is it true like the book of Conversations with God by Neil Diamond Walsh(sp?) that there is no hell? It'd be great if NDEr's reply too. However I do believe in God and I have several phobias which manifest as hell during my nightmares...is that what hell really is? In short all I wanna know what will happen to me after I die? Thanx. [Serious answers only.]

Do you use them all the time, or only during a connecting experience with the universe/God/the divine?

There are many transitional fossils. The only way that the claim of their absence may be remotely justified, aside from ignoring the evidence completely, is to redefine "transitional" as referring to a fossil that is a direct ancestor of one organism and a direct descendant of another. However, direct lineages are not required; they could not be verified even if found. What a transitional fossil is, in keeping with what the theory of evolution predicts, is a fossil that shows a mosaic of features from an older and more recent organism.

Transitional fossils may coexist with gaps. We do not expect to find finely detailed sequences of fossils lasting for millions of years. Nevertheless, we do find several fine gradations of fossils between species and genera, and we find many other sequences between higher taxa that are still very well filled out.

The following are fossil transitions between species and genera:

I really want to get involved in a church again, and there is the church of christ church by my house that my kids have been going to their kids night out for several years, and the people of this church are so wonderful. I would like to start attending there services, but would like to be a little educated on this religion. What are their beliefs? Do you have to convert? If so what does that involve?

Whats the big deal about prayer at sporting events or schools or even saying under god in the pledge of allegiance?

If you dont believe in god, then why be bothered while us "nutcases" say a few words of prayer to ourselves? I don't see the big deal...we're not asking you to be baptized along with us...

This is a serious question and i am not having an attitude or anything, i really want to know the opposite end of the spectrum.

Some say seperation of church and state... but why? Tell me more...
