I drink herbal tea daily, some of it prepackaged, some if it from the organic hippie store. It is a part of my spirituality, but not in the same way that community liturgy is. It reminds me of my connection to the earth, that I am a part of nature. I also believe that there are healt/nutritional benifits to it. Purchasing organic herbs is one way of recognizing how we can practice synergistic, sustainable horticulture. Getting minerals and vitamins from natural sources rather than supplements keeps me connected.

Herbs, incenses, gems, etc, cause the senses to react.
Touch, sight, smell, hear, taste.......impair one from a process
called reflection or prayer.
One must search for the process to communicate with the creator that does not allow any of the senses to interfere.
I would not at this time propose any form of this process it would be most inappropriate by any and all standards.
I can say this: Quiet the mind so that little mental process is
active. This enhances the chances of your success.
When the mind has become still a human can gain a better perspective of who they are, and this is needed to gain wisdom as to who the creator is.
I can say also that it is much like looking into a mirror, when
one finds out who they truly are.
Good Hunting................

My community is elementary to my non secular boom and my non secular boom is elementary in determining on my community. even though it has little to do with any faith. a pair of years in the past my husband and that i made the decision to slowly cut back out any relationships that we did not sense edified our relations and ourselves. We were very much stunned by utilising what number relationships we would clung to, that were dragging us down. He had to allow pass of a few previous friends who purely looked as if it would call in the adventure that they needed a favor. I allow pass of my maximum of my relations of foundation and a an huge buddy who become continually unsightly and possessive of my time. It turned right into a dramatic change, yet fairly well worth it. The grievance and detrimental feedback from those people were like a lack of life by utilising 1000 tiny cuts. They left me basically drained adequate to be numb to how in hand and exquisite my life actual become. The relationships we kept have grown superior and the hot friendships we've solid are so a lot more beneficial uplifting than what had earlier. i do no longer recognize what took us so long to work out that we needed that regulate. although the non secular boom become both the onus for and the outcome of that call.

Yes... but not specifically or all the time. We use a pendulum to make decisions, especially when we can't get objective enough to feel the answer in our own hearts. (By "we" I mean me and my husband... not me and my alter ego, lol.)
My husband does crystal healing on me when I'm depressed, or agro, or just can't "tune in".
I have found that sleeping with an amethyst cluster in the room really helps me have better sleep, and good dreams. My husband brought rose quartz to me (a BIG one) when I was in hospital with pregnancy complications... whenever I felt depressed and lonely, I would hold the rock in my hand, and instantly the "aloneness" didn't bother me any more.
Their significance to me is that the energy of the crystals is pure, and angels can work through them. When you accompany a crystal healing with a prayer to be "connected, protected, and grounded" the crystal pendulum is a pretty sure fire way to tune in to universal truth... ie the angels use their energy to affect how it swings. Crystal therapy clears blockages in the flow of the auric body (ie spirit and body are intimately connected... and the body can affect the spiritual state, and visa versa). It's not magic... it's electrodynamics.
This mortal body is a great tool given to us by God (and Goddess) to help us effect faster and more permanent spiritual progression. Crystals are another physical tool that Heavenly Father has given us, to aid in our spiritual advancement, while we are in this mortal life.

In Magick herbs, incense, crystals and candles play a very important role in our rituals. Each item is a focus or a link to what we are attempting to do. All senses must be stimulated in order for us to bring them together so we may manipulate or draw energy and apply it to our workings.
Hope this helps.

Ok, Tree kisser, where are all of your Christians that you just slammed?
I am a Christian and I use a candle to help me meditate. I stare at the flame and clear my mind of all thoughts for as long as I can. To me, meditation is a very spiritual experience. It clears my mind and clears tension from my body. I feel close to God when I have relaxed and cleared my mind.
Now, slam me. Thumbs down.

I burn incense, but its nothing to do with spirituality. I just like the way it smells. I do think, though, that my catholic past might be the reason I like it. I love the smell of catholic churches.
