hey i agree with you 100%. i am a christian and i dont sin. the moment i got saved i quit sinning. the reason other so called christians dont stop is because they serve a false christ and a false god. the true and living GOD and his SON woundnt let you sin and call yourself a christian. just follow the bible (KJV) and dont listen to man unless he is a true believer also.Matthew 7:15 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)
15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
28And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
29For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes

It is impossible for sinful humans to live like Christ. That is not the definition of a "Christian". The definition is someone who believes that Jesus is the true son of God and that he came here to save us from our sin. When the Bible says "people who sin are of the devil" it means that all people are sinful, and all people are from the devil...Which is why all people need saving through Christ.
For someone who claims to have "studied the Bible in-depth", you have not fully grasped many of the most basic concepts and definitions that deal with Christianity.
Oh, and don't flatter yourself. You could never "stop sin" or "live above sin". You are only human.

Because we live in hell, this earth is ruled by sin and it is difficult to overcome. However, it sounds almost like you are passing judgment on those Christians that aren't able to accomplish what you have and that, itself, is a sin.
Jesus died so that our sins would be forgiven, no matter what or when. He paid for our sins in advance. That doesn't give us the right to take it for granted and abuse his gift to us. We are not perfect, there was only 1 that has lived here on this hell and has accomplished a life free of sin. I find the biggest sin of all that I come across is other Christians who pass judgment when someone else already has that job and I sure as heck don't want it.
I try, just as most of us do, but I am not perfect. I make my mistakes and I ask forgiveness for them daily but I also don't hold myself above any other human being, Christian or not.

Ahhh to comprehend this you want to comprehend the numerous diverse form of historic information/myths. 1st a dissimilar social gathering. An Indigenous team may have a historic declare to a piece of land in accordance with a myths protecting they were there considering that advent. this may fluctuate from the Archaeological list that be in a position to point that this team might want to were there for 1000 years or so, although the info confirmed diverse cultural communities lived there in the previous then. subsequently equals conflict between respecting the Indigenous fable and the historic info. Now. there is the Xian list to point sin originated in Eden, yet the different Abrahambic Faiths also percentage those memories and performance a dissimilar idea of Sin. So what i'm protecting that, at the same time as your question is a sturdy one, there'll be conflict between the Bible list and the socio-historic version of actuality. conflict between the declare both Jesus and Eden electorate were the first to understand it. .

We cannot live a sinless life. This is why we die to ourselves and are born again. We are clothed in Christ's righteousness, so all the Father see is Jesus. By Him we are justified "just if I'd never sinned".
Also remember that many of the verb tenses in the Greek deal with "continual" sin. Example in 1 John...
"And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him."
The above verb tense means those that are born again in Christ will no longer continue in sin. Will they sin? Yes, but it is no longer a way of life.
"My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous."
Here is the occasion where we have fallen in sin. We repent, and Jesus forgives. But it is not a way of life for us, and we are not trying to hide or excuse it.

Christians sin because we are in the world and often too weak to overcome the temptations all around us. The flesh has an appetite for sin.
Paul talks about it specifically at the end of Romans 7.
You are experiencing grace for now; strive to not take advantage of Jesus' grace.
We go from Romans 6 (ideal)
to the struggle of reality in Romans 7
and onto to freedom in Romans 8
Great 3 chapter study.

I do not believe for one moment that you found you could "stop sinning". Paul said, "the good I would do, I do not; the evil I would not do, I do". We each have a sin nature. A Christian loves God and desires to follow the Lord and His ways, yes. But we are not perfect in these bodies and will not be perfect until we walk into His kingdom.

I'm a Christian and try to follow Christ as closely as I'm able. However, I sin all day every day, and believe that I will never be without sin this side of heaven.
Can you really get through even a day without it?
Even in your post I'm afraid both a little judgement as well as self-righteousness come through.....things that belong only to God.

Because even though someone may claim to be a Christian, maybe their definition of the term is different than yours. Some of the worst hypocrits I've ever met were people who claimed to Christians. Some of them partied all week, lied, treated people like crap, and then went to Church/Confession on Sunday, felt they were forgiven and had a clean slate, and started all over again. It's sad, isn't it?!

You can't live without sin, according to the Bible. Sex outside of marriage is a sin, lust is a sin, masturbation is a sin, sex for any purpose other that procreation is a sin, thinking about sex is a sin, wanting something that someone else has is a sin, lying is a sin...you can't live without sin...according to the Bible if you believe it.
