Christians ideals can change, but gods words remain the same. Dancing is in the bible, but it was before God. Gods words says that homosexuality is wrong: remember Sodom and Gommorah? Killing is wrong: Thou shalt not kill?

There will always be different beliefs between different churches. While individual beliefs, and certain churches, may change what they perceive as wrong, what doesn't change is what God has said in the Bible. There isn't any place in the entire Bible where homosexuality is described as being good. It is always portrayed as wrong in the eyes of God, and among God's people. And I have yet to see ANYONE who would be proud to say that they would want their children to grow up to be a homosexual.
Jesus said that a man and a woman are to be married, He never approved of two men or two women!
And the Bible also says, "Choose LIFE" (Deut.30:19)
It's up to you who you choose to believe, as for me, I'll believe God. Read the Bible for yourself, and live according to it, and not what others tell you.

The church I attend does not endorse Rock and Roll music. We do not hold church dances either. However...we do not pry into each others personal life's. I know a great Christian man who is skilled in many different forms of formal dance styles. He took many different classes. True Christians will never approve of homosexuality or abortion. What is next on the "de-sensitizing" list? Pedophilia? Insest? Christians will always stand up for morality.

Read the Bible and your questions will be answered. It is the guide and law for living no matter what your thoughts or answers from those other than God. Doing what is right by the laws of God and man is the only way it can work. If everyone makes up their own rules to justify their own behavior, there would be nothing but chaos.

PS. Pray for for guidance. Your prayer will be answered. I can't explain it. Lift a joyous voice unto the Lord.

I have a relative who married a southern baptist and there was no music and no chairs at the reception. they seem adverse to any fun or even sitting or maybe they were just cheap and renting by the quarter hour so they wanted to clear the house. They got a long way to go.

Religious leaders like to condemn whatever form of entertainment is currently popular, thus gaining more power.

It was comic books, then rock music, and now video games.

Wrong is wrong. And I will not give in to believing that abortion or same sex relationships are right in the sight of God.

Hi

The abortion is murder. Both, the murder and homosexuality, are as sin in the bible. That will never change.

take care.
