I noticed on your last question that many people, myself included, answered that the loss of their children and/or unrelenting physical pain would be enough to make them want to leave this life.
I live with constant physical pain and disability. My children make my life worth living. As long as I am their mother, I have a purpose. That makes the pain bearable, and life beautiful.

I believe that GOD put dreams into our hearts, and our job in life, according to GOD, is to make those dreams reality despite anyone's criticisms and such. So, that's what I'm doing with my life. I am an inventor. I've had ideas and dreams of different machines running through my mind since I was eight years old. Only now (I'm in the mid-thirties) do I truly understand what it is GOD wanted me to do with my life. Before that, I was going through life trying to live as normal (whatever that is) of a life as I could. I'm married, have two kids, average life, and income, but it wasn't enough. I have always felt like that average wasn't enough. I have always felt like my family and I deserved better. So now, not only am I working a fulltime job as an electronics technician for a well known communications company, but I am also working with what little spare time I have to start a company devoted to making my dreams become reality. Once such dream can solve the problem of high demand/low supply of gasoline. This device allows the user to traverse the countryside without using a single drop of gas. No recharging, no huge, overly expensive batteries that have a limited capacity, none of that. The design is perfect in every way. Now my job is to make it happen, and help humanity out of this rut we're in.
GOD Bless
Added: Humanity is meant to live an abundant life because of the sacriface that Christ made for us. So why then do we accept the pains and trials that we settle for and accept? Serena, do not accept your pain. It is not what GOD has meant for you. Arise, and be made whole again. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

The fact that you're gonna be happy every day of your life no matter how many times you feel disappointed and desperate.Atleast one min of happiness is guaranteed .And even if it's just a minute or maybe 24 hrs for others, that is enough to make my life complete .
The fact that I've got friends at school ,the fact that I've got wonderful parents and the fact that I've got so many years ahead make me wanna wake up every day with some hope and move on.

i live for love. Love from my family, friends and that someone, yes, as cliche as it may sounds. You can have all the things in the world, but without someone to share it with, you are just basically existing on your own but with no meaning, really.
like today, i just simply had my job done in the office, my boss compliment me on doing such a good job and i know when i reach home i can share this great little news with him. you might think it's silly, like it's such a small matter, but that's what makes life real and worth living for.
people don't take note on little things anymore, they take things for granted. you probably heard the above for about 10 billion million zillion times, but it's true.
again, thats just me! :) i wish you have a nice day and eventually get the answer you are looking for! take care.

Love. General and specific. The specific is for my friends and my surrogate family. The general is for Mother Nature, and for my city, my county, my state, my nation, my planet.
Since I am retired, and do not have a well-defined job to do, I see my "job" as generally to be useful, helpful to those in need, supportive of efforts to clean up our environment, to push back ignorance and the dumbing down of modern pop culture. Also, I consider it part of my duty in that regard to be helpful here on Answers. Really, this is part of my concept of my love for people. That's why I mostly hang out in the Religion & Spirituality category.

I love learning new things, playing video games, goofing around on the Internet. I am a technology fanatic and a futurist. I have high hopes of our future and I want to be part of it.

Knowing one day that I will be in Heaven with my lord and savior Jesus Christ. Pain and Trials (being in the valley) makes us grow and I am just as thankful for them as I am the Blessings, because in a way they are blessings also.
