The koran is their holy book, not book of the law.
Like jews have tenak(OT), Tulmad, then Torah(law)

if you had knowledge u'd know that Quran was the last book that was revealed by God and it was definitely a continuation of the other books that had been revealed but it also had a lot more to it. Think of all these books as chapters and Quran was the final chapter so yes there are references in the Quran from the other books. That does not invalidate anything.

Secondly, Mohammad ran from the cave because at the age that he was in, he wasn't sure what was happening to him and he couldn't believe that either. If you have a premonition or a revelation would you not be scared???

Common Sense. But for someone like you who believes in re-incarnation, common sense is far fetched.

Surely if the Commandments and Law was invented or written by Moses himself.

Surely if it was the revealation from the God the main element of guidence remain unchanged in the final word of God - The Quran.

Surely if you would have read Quran yourself you could find that basics of Monotheism are the same but some laws (shariah) have been changed. A lot of false additions and misconceptions is removed in the Quran. This is not an adoption. you may call it as revival of the meassage.

Why are you surprised!
The auther is the same - God himself!
Moses and Muahmmad cannot change as true servants.

As a non-musim, non-christian and a non-jew, I'd like to make 1 comment regarding a comment made by samantha - Muhammed never hated Jews - Jewish coimmunities in fact lived amongst his followers in Medina - and some even went into battle with him in the battles against the people of Mecca. The muslim caliphs/sultans/kings have a long record of protecting those in their care, including jews. The current problems are a 20th century abberation.

To comment on Samantha's answer, she mentioned Jehovah being a God of love....perhaps she should reread the Old Testament. He ordered the entire Caananite race slaughtered to the last man, woman and child so his people could have their promised land. (That's in Exodus by the way). This was also the same God who forbade Moses to enter the promised land because of a lapse in faith.
Don't get me wrong, Jehovah's the same God I believe in, or at least the name I know him by. But to describe him only as loving is to totally miss the point of the Old Testament, where he was harsh, fickle and genocidal on top of that.

The Ten Commandments could really be condensed to one....Thou shalt not.....or I'll kill you.

What Muhammad did is mix up what was known in the Torah with what he wanted to change from the worship of the God of the jews (who he hated)...the God Jehovah....so he actually randomly took an idol god off of the shelf and said...."this is now our god Allah, whom we will serve....and the Koran, etc....were all part of the "religion" he wanted to be in its place. With the hatred they had for the Jews, it isn't hard to understand why he wanted something different....the problem is that Allah is not the one, true, and living God.

I find it interesting that Allah is a god of hate...and Jehovah is a God of Love. He loved us so much, he sent his Son, Jesus to die in our place, and take our punishment, so we could live with Him (be reconciled thru His Son!)

And I have heard Muslims say that they were convinced when they realized that everything in Islam is "hate"...hate the jews, hate Christians, etc....when God teaches exactly the opposite...."love your neighbor as yourself", love your enemies", "do good to those that hate you"....etc. Allah is not God.

Prophet Muhammad never used the Torah to implement shariah, you seriously mistaken. He did use the Torah when some jews came to him and asked him to jusge between them. And the Quran also has all the necessory laws, like the law of inheritence, murder, theft, adultry and fornication etc. So he never refered to torah to justify his actions. And he did memorize the whole of the quran and and many of his companions were also memorizers of the quran . When the Prophet(pbuh) died, there were hundreds of his companions who knew the whole of the quran by heart.

I think you are misinformed...The Quran says Allah sent holy books before the Quran the Torah and bible, the problem is man has changed what the message in the bible and Torah are.. the Quran is the same from day one till now you won't find any differences...Prophet Mohammed(pbuh) did not use the Torah.............check your facts.. or maybe you are just reading what someone wants you to believe... because some will always be misinformed

Didn't want to commit plagiarism of Moses writings and thought up his own. So that people of the times would believe him that he and his camel had flown all the way to Jerusalem and back in one night.

Gee, I like to own a camel like that one.
