It's unfair to blame the countries themselves........the fault lies with a few individuals, and not only from these two countries......the trouble is many Muslims Aqeedah (beliefs) are off.......if they correct their Aqeedah and return to Qur'an and Sunnah and stay away from innovation and deviation......then there would be no bad name to give....

If I agreed with that, I'd have to say that America has given Christianity a bad name and Ireland given Catholicism a bad name. No, I do not agree. People give themselves a bad name, but unfortunately when people are lumped together and labelled (e.g. islam=terrorism , or Catholic=IRA suicide bomber ) by the media, those who do not seek the truth out themselves will tend to simply follow what they are shown and believe other people's opinions without really taking time to establish the facts and formulate an opinion of their own.
Get yourself a book called "Baghdad Burning" - find out a little about something called Wooly Pete, and refuse to be part of the sheep. Read, read, read. And you will be amazed
at what uncover about Islam.

I don`t know what exact facts your question is based upon, so won`t be able to answer it.

I know, though, that we can not blame an entire country for certain individuals` actions. This is true for everyone.

Also there might be many bad people from tehse countries but I`m sure there are many good ones in these same countries who are trying to clear misconceptions about islam, and setting good examples.

Religions tend to be fairly good at giving themselves bad names without the assistance of countries, individuals or organisations. The doctrine alone is usually enough.

However, a lot of what is a country's culture is assumed to be part of the main religion, and this is not always right to assume. In fairness, this can be seen to have happened in this case.

There are fanatic Muslims in all countries so you can't say one gave a bad name to the religion any more than the other. Fanatics of any religion turn people away by their zealousness.

As far as Saudi Arabia goes, it is my understanding that they hold themselves superior to all other countries as they are the home of Mecca so anyplace or anyone else is beneath them culturally.

It's the radical Muslims who do. The ones who demonstrate the fine art of beheading and other such nonsense, like forcing women to wear a burka, forcing men to grow beards, prohibiting modern conveniences, etc.

Yuh, talking about the Taliban and like minded idiots.

Actually all fanatics give bad names to their religion.
But even normal religious people who let these fanatics of their own belief harm others and cause problems are to blame.
