Yes I often believe in myself for I know what potential I have. But sometimes it's nice to have others encourage you specially when you don't ask them for help or advice. Makes you feel cared for. =) But ultimately, I know that if things don't go as I expected them to go, even as I tried my best, God has a better plan for me, and that's what I can ALWAYS count on! I just gotta TRUST Him to guide me to the right path. ;o)

i think that is totally true . if a person was raised in a bad family they will probley hate life . now thats not allways true but i think that what u believe has alot to do with how u were raised : example ....a person is raised by a christian familly , but they see the wickedness of their parents and see that they are hipocrits well that kind of thing can drive a christian to becoming an athiest . your immpressions on life have to do pretty much with how u grew up . like if u had a sad childhood and both your parents died or things like that , well these fellings can cause a person to hate themselves . and yes i believe in myself and in mankind . i hope one day everybody will feel that way .

Belief in one's abilities goes a long way in making a person a success in life. I've been privy to the opposite and know for a fact that when one has no confidence in themselves, they project it (even if trying not to.) It makes a difference.

An especially powerful characteristic is whether a person is timid and fearful. That colors their take on the world too.

Yes, I have always believed in myself.

Certainly, I practice self improvement at all times. I do not believe in half-way morals. A person must be one hundred percent honest, truthful, trustworthy, and loyal, or he is nothing.

I believe I am nothing without Christ. However, to say that I don't believe in myself is very negative self-talk and unhealthy for the psyche.

Most of the time I do. My kids test me to the point that I doubt myself as a mom sometimes though.

I believe that I'm here right now. I know I don't deserve to be. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Romans 7:14-25

"14We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. 15I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature.[c] For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. "

" 21So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22For in my inner being I delight in God's law; 23but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. 24What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? 25Thanks be to God—through Jesus Christ our Lord!
So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin."

So, no--I don't believe in myself. I believe in Christ.
