It was a symbol of the five wounds of Christ. An emperor was partial to the cross at one point so it shifted to the cross and the symbol of Christ. I just thought that was interesting. :)

Energy can neither b created nor destroyed. One form of energy transform in to another.- this is the energy theory. Our soul is also an energy. When this energy leaves our physical body it will enter in to another physical body.So it moves from one physical body to another. We can name this as re-incarnation.

Don't waste time telling me I'm going to hell. I don't believe in hell. Furthermore, if there is hell, I'd rather suffer there than to be in Muslim heaven and be someone's sex slave. So spare me the cute little vitrioles about, "You will find out soon enough, how hot hell is..." and yada yada yada. Just answer the bloomin' question.

I like to check the questions and answers of some people specially muslims and see how they go forward and backward, not learning anyhting just interested in impose their view, as an open mind person I had been tempted to try to understand how a person can believe a Paedophile is a Prophet, or why they insist in such silly ignorant custom of saying "God told", but after 8 centuries of science, they had really showed they can just believe anyhting.

Take a look at this question and the video and please explain me under what logic any person can think that to put Coke in a Pork chop makes warms to apear???, they don't think that if the warms are there they will go out when frying the chops?, it is the Coke a bless liquid from heaven so alow this to happen?, or maybe is acouple of guys joking...?, let's ask this question to a 4 years old boy or girl. Cause as you see in the question, muslims in their absolutely ignorance still think that this is true...

Somebody asked christians to "prove that God is not a mirage" and instead od ANSWERING the question, they say evasive stuff like "prove that God isn't a mirage"etc etc....one person even said "that's not my job" so if she doesn't regard that as her job, then WHY does she regard it her job to "save" people?

if u ask atheists to tell you the evidence for evolution ,they'll give you atleast a basic description of it.

if you say,"prove that evolution is true" does an atheist say "well why don't you prove that it's wrong"?

Another thing i've noticed is,you always seem to give the same "set response" for each question...without even bothering to READ the question....when a person asks a specific question s/he's not interested in answers like "God loves you"! h/she wants the answer to that question BEING asked!

if you really believe in what you say,why is it so hard for you to DIRECTLY answer a question?

And if you say yes; how can such a martyr for humanity be casted into an eternal state of pain?

And if you said no; why are you making an exception for Gandhi? What about the rest of us Heathens?

I saw an answer to a question earlier on that was critical of the debate that we're having here in R&S as it's technically against the Y/A guidlines.

I understand the point, but I don't think it's valid to point the finger just at atheists. There is a robust debate happening between many groups from different backgrounds.

I have learnt much from participating as I'm sure most of us, whatever our background, have.

The suggestion was made that a disscussion group would be more appropriate, yet somehow, the Y/A just works so much better, and I think that's why we're all here.

Personally, I think it's a wonderful example of how the internet can bring people together and spread a better understanding.

While many of us will continue to dig our heels in on our opinions, we are all creating a better understanding with, and of, each other. This can only be healthy in the global community that we live in.

Is this valid, or should all of us, from all sides, go elsewhere?

How long should it be?

How can you look into your children's eyes, and see the best part of them and tell them that they have no purpose in life? How can you tell them that they are only loved conditionally and if they make a mistake they will not ever be able to move on from it?
Do you teach them that there is no hope?
Do you teach them that community is just a bunch of houses?
How do you encourage them to be the best they can be if they have no strong background to place thier faith love and respect?
What do you use as discipline and example? Why would you want to teach them to be so hurtful to others.
I just do understand. It is one thing for you to say, I don't believe in God, but to raise your children without structure, community or fellowship.
Why would you do that to them and still make claims that you love them.
Without God in your life, how long would that love last? Until they hurt you?
