i believe in God and i love Him with ALL my heart,so don't anyone confuse that ok :)my christian friends,i would like to ask a question from you.

if you had a friend, who was not at all attractive, would you tell him"sorry mate, don't think you'll ever be able to get a girl.you're ugly you know"? no.it's rude and insensitive and a totally horrible thing to do.i think we would all agree on that.

why don't you use this same compassion that Jesus taught us when speaking to people of other faiths?i see so many answers posted by christians saying"sorry, your God is false.Jesus is the only way"when a person of another faith asks a question.is it right for us to belittle another's faith? Just as much asWE love God,doesn't that other personALSOlove their God?is it a surprise that christians seem to be unpopular?and do you think that we can ever be able to save them by humiliating them?they're just going to move further and further away...
and since there is only one God,though people may

This was voted as best answer to the question asked requesting a precise and detailed example of fulfilled prophesy:

Best Answer - Chosen By Voters

1948 Israel became a nation.
1967 Jews captured Israel.
Jews returning to Israel by the thousands.
(PROPHESY FULFILLED) Just to name ONE example.....

None of this is precisely detailed in the bible, it is extremely vague at best. You're just filling in the blanks however you want.

So I ask again. Using chapter, verse and detailed history, can you give me a precise and detailed example of fulfilled prophesy?

We have spent much time investigating all the 'differences' between Christian and Athesist beliefs

I'm wondering if anyone wants to talk about the similarities or 'shared beliefs' that we have

are there any 'bullet point' issues that we agree on? ... and if so, why?

I posted a question and commentary about the Catholic church yesterday. The response has been awesome. Many do raise pertinent issues about why they do/do not belief in the teaching, doctrine and faith of this church.I did assert that credible historical and biblical evidence abounds crediting this church.I have read books written about Christian history by our protestant brothers. What is a fact is that protestantism has been with us for not more than 500 years. That is a historical fact.On the other hand, there is historical evidence of the existence of the catholic church for more than 2000 years. What strikes me most is that our Christian brothers do not acknowledge, even in their history of faith, that given this status quo, their faith is rooted in the Catholic church.About the Bible, there is evidence that the early church leaders choose what books to include or not to in the compilation of the bible. So were they not actually Catholic popes, bishops and priests?I belief they were!!!!!

I say We are all part of the One Spirit. When you experience the true meaning of religion, which is to know God, you will realize that He is your Self, and that He exists equally and impartially in all beings.

What do you say.

As he was led to be crucified?
How could such hard hearted men not understand that THIS was God come down to man.
"Even as He hung in torment and terrible suffering, they mocked, him and spat on Him. Most hated him vehemently."
"...falsely accused and condemned, beaten, scourged, mocked and humiliated."
"They mocked and reviled Jesus, spit in His face, then blindfolded Him and beat Him asking Him to prophesy who had hit Him (Mark 14:65; Luke 22:63-65)."
Do people STILL commit these same despicable acts today?
I see questions like this all the time from people that seem to hate Him:
"Moses: burning bush, Jesus: "Father speaks through me," Mohamed: Gabriel. If I hear voices am I a prophet too?"

"Why would God intelligently design a place that you would need to be saved from?"

"Jesus said you can beat women with a rod till they are unconsious ?"

"Did JESUS CHRIST have a GAY relationship with Apostle JOHN?"

"Jesus was a sinner?"

In Revelation 20 it says that hell and hades give up their dead and are thrown into the lake of fire-- which means hell is not the eternal punishment, the lake of fire is. This is also known as "Gahenna" in the hebrew context.
I just thought it is interesting to know this, because I know we all say unbelievers go to hell, but it is really called the lake of fire, where hell is thrown into too-- and it is described as eternal punishment in Revelation 20:14- 14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

-So it is the second death that is eternal- and is forever- but it is not a state of unconsciousness, for it says:
Revelation 20:10
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
-And then it continues to say at the end of the chapter that whoever is not a believer is also cast there.

I believe very strongly in God. I also believe I have come to know him through personal experiences with him, and my experience is nothing like that which is written about in the Bible

So, I believe in God, but I don't believe in the Bible (at least not verbatim, many stories to make a point, 'fables'). Does that mean no one agrees with me? Or does everyone agree with some of what I'm saying? Am I a 'bi'religious (attracted to both sides)?

My question is..

How do you know that Jesus was born on exact 25th of December day in history? What evidence do you have about his birth on that particular date in bible?

Is the date even mentioned in bible?

The fact is, the Christmas that we celebrate today is probably copied from pre-Christian Germanic, Roman, and Celtic people who celebrated the winter solstice.

Just show me one verse in bible that says Jesus was born on that date!

I am thinking of a song called:

Zager And Evans | In The Year 2525 Lyrics In the year 2525
If man is still alive
If woman can survive
They may find
In the year 3535
Ain't gonna need to tell the truth, tell no lies
Everything you think, do, and say
Is in the pill you took today

In the year 4545
Ain't gonna need your teeth, won't need your eyes
You won't find a thing to chew
Nobody's gonna look at you

In the year 5555
Your arms are hanging limp at your sides
Your legs got nothing to do
Some machine is doing that for you

In the year 6565
Ain't gonna need no husband, won't need no wife
You'll pick your son, pick your daughter too
From the bottom of a long glass tube' Whoooa

In the year 7510
If God's a-comin' he ought to make it by then
Maybe he'll look around himself and say
Guess it's time for the Judgement day

In the year 8510
God is gonna shake his mighty head then
He'll either say I'm pleased where man has been
Or tear it down and start again

In the year 9595
I'm kinda wondering if man is gonna be alive
He's taken everything this old earth can give
And he ain't put back nothing

Now it's been 10,000 years
Man has cried a billion tears
For what he never knew
Now man's reign is through
But through eternal night
The twinkling of starlight
So very far away
Maybe it's only yesterday

In the year 2525
If man is still alive
If woman can survive
They may thrive
In the year 3535
Ain't gonna need to tell the truth, tell no lies
Everything you think, do or say
Is in the pill you took today ....(fading...)

I notice the people who answer questions about God are getting really defensive and bash Jesus and God, the Bible.
They get really angry , I just wondering do you think they are being convicted by the truth? maybe that is why these non -believers are getting upset.
instead of getting mad why dont you read the bible and do your research? And pray and ask God to show you he is real.

when did god create the angels? particularly satan. in the book of genesis we learn that on the first day god created heaven and earth. is my assumption wrong in that god was alone before this? why/why not? if angels exist, why did god create man? angels must have existed before man, otherwise satan would not have been in the garden of eden to tempt eve. is my assumption correct there? also i'm confused by those who say god can do anything, but when confronted with the story of creation they say that a day could be a thousand years. doesn't this imply that god needed longer than seven days to complete the universe? could he have not completed each phase in a day? if not, then god can't do anything.

Atheists believe in no god. But the very first man and woman (Adam and Eve) believed in God. Its like playing Chinese whisper - somewhere along the line the message has been distorted. So what then, will you say if a time arises that your standing before God - how will you explain to him that you spent your whole life rejecting him, telling others that he doesnt exist, and you werent expecting to meet him?
