I understand the Trinity. Who is Jesus? Is he our God?

Yes, I really want to know. We, at least 50% of us, must be confused. Our Salvation must be important, but this one basic question has half of us in jeopardy(?).

If you understand the Trinity then why are you asking this question? Yes Jesus is God, God the father is God and the Holy Spirit is God. They are all the same person. Take an egg for example, there are three parts to an egg. The shell, egg whites, and the yolk. All three parts make up one egg. All three parts of the Trinity make one God

If you understand the Trinity you would not be asking this question.

In the Christian tradition God has three aspects known as the Trinity. The Trinity consists of God the father (the big "G"), God the son (Jesus), and God the holy spirit (the divine spark that is in all of us).

YES!
Colossians 2:9 says that in HIM all deity dwells bodily. John 1:1 says In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God (The word is Jesus Christ!)
Revelatin 1:8 says that He is the Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end-
John 10 has many references to Him being God.
God is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit! He gives us His Holy Spirit when we are saved- we are sealed with a promise (Ephesians 1)

Shucky B, if you truly knew the TRI-UNITY you would not ask this question! But if you're asking an honest question coming from an honest heart, let me help you, ok?

The Second Person of the Tri-Unity is The Son of God, sometimes called The Word (Logos). The Son of God took on the form or body of a human being and this is how He was revealed to us humans in our physical visible world. The Son of God exists in what we know as the spiritual invisible world...The Son of God was revealed to us as Jesus of Nazareth...through His incarnation (taking the human form), some of us have come to know God...so a theological and philosophical conclusion can be thus: Jesus of Nazareth is God revealed!!!! Hope this helps you...

Hard to imagine for me to worship somebody just like myself, human being.

I highly respect Jesus- his teaching, and I believe the miracles which now, in modern days, exist .( advanced in medical tecknology include cloning);

I can understand why some people believe in Trinity;
It is difficult for me to believe in Trinity because : if I believe it I would think that I am God too.
Why??, because in my opinion, GOD is The Creator whilst Jesus and Holy Sprit were/are creation of God ;
I am too creation of God.
I know and sure that I am not God, so they too , are not God.

Some people believe Jesus is Son of God;\ but as I dont believe that St Mary is Wife of GOD , then in my opinion: if Jesus mother is human being, so is Jesus.

Are they Special ?? Yes!!!! Same like Moses, Noah, Abraham, David etc etc. They all are special . I honour them .They had good messages for their people at that time .
which some are still valid today.
That is my answer. Somebody dont like it, Iam not offended. I respect the other answers.

Jesus is the Son of God. God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus are the Trinity. they are three in One. it's a bit hard to explain but... it's sort of like looking at it like... if you look at a mother who works as a teacher. she can be a MOM to her children. a WIFE to her husband and TEACHER to her students. same way goes for the Trinity

Jesus is a figure that has been distorted through out history. First of all he didn't call himself Jesus, since there is no 'J' in the Aramaic language. Second, he wasn't white he most likely appeared arab or closer to black.

There is no evidence that he was the son of god. It is merely conjecture from the Bible which was written long after he died. Most of Chrisitanity is the word of Paul and not Jesus.

Jesus and God are the same person. The bible says,"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."
