The Christian god is credited with all manner of atrocities including torture and mass slaughter. Is it right to worship such a character? It seems a bit hypocritical to profess love and praise for him whilst at the same time condemning people who committed the same kinds of horrors in Stalinist Russia and Nazi Germany, does it not?

I mean all my family and friends are Christians, and I've never actually had bad feelings about them. I also don't make generalizations about people. Yet I keep hearing people say that I hate christians. Am I confused or should people stop telling me how I feel? Does not believing what someone says without a shred of proof constitute hate?

What if the clone had the reasoning capability of a snail?

The Hebrew says that God created our bodies out of the existing elements of the earth. Man could possilby duplicate that.
But the Hebrew says that God created our souls OUT OF NOTHING! I challenge any scientist to create something out of nothing.
The soul is a term that means emotion, freewill, and mentality.
What do you think. If we cloned a human being would it have a soul?

A question is posted about a Jehovah's Witness saying something about Jesus having free will. Responses are posted saying basically don't listen to anything a JW says. They are a cult and teach only false beliefs.

So, does this mean that they are wrong that Jesus had free will and that he was really just a puppet or automaton of his Father? Or, did these people just close their minds as soon as they say the words Jehovah's Witness and not read any further?

How do you feel about it? Is it just used to get money by telling people that they will be better Christians? Is it wrong to profit from people's beliefs? Is it a similar thing to the merchants that Jesus threw out of the temple?

Leviticus 12:2
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.
Leviticus 12:5
But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days.
Comment
A woman who gives birth to a child must undergo a purification ritual lest her "uncleanness" contaminate others. This not only entails her isolation, but also payments to priests for the ritual acts. Thus the male dominators had even made birth dirty.

Notice here that if a woman bears a female child, her isolation must last twice as long as that if she gives birth to a male child! (See also Psalms 51:3-5)

to be robots. It is the scam of a lifetime free will given by the"devil" but God wants us to be mindless automatons- constantly quoting an old book not advancing moving forward or getting better. So very sad Christians you are- not even close to what Christ Jesus wanted... Jesus would cry in most of your churches.

My God is a God of love and is against Murder, as that is one of his commandments, why is your God a god of hate and violence and murder, just to get into Heaven for 72 so called virgins? My God is a God of the supernatural and performs miracles, and why does your god live in a box and does none of these? Kind of makes you wounder doesn't it? Also my God sent his Son into the world to die for out sins, and your god(with a small g) condems everybody to hell, and anybody who is not a Muslim will end up in hell. My God does not have 72 virgins in Heaven to have sex with as my God will not permit anything that is imoral in his Holy presence, and yet your god permits imorality. Very strange.

After the dinosaurs got eradicated, Humans inherited the earth, after Humans get eradicated will a new species take over?

If yes, most probably it will be insects. Livards (dino) had their chance, Mamals (humans) had their chance, so now it's time for the insects to rise.

If God created men to choose whether or not to believe in Him, doesn't that necessitate that God give us the ability to know Him? Objectively speaking. I believe that asking enough questions will lead to faith. But I certainly will not put anyone down who does not agree, I would just like your thoughts?
