What if the clone had the reasoning capability of a snail?

The Hebrew says that God created our bodies out of the existing elements of the earth. Man could possilby duplicate that.
But the Hebrew says that God created our souls OUT OF NOTHING! I challenge any scientist to create something out of nothing.
The soul is a term that means emotion, freewill, and mentality.
What do you think. If we cloned a human being would it have a soul?

Dear ANTIOXIDANT

Prove that the soul is not where your mentality comes from, and then you will have a leg to stand on!

You certainly cannot do that with other life forms, because I see no pyramids that they have built. And I certainly see no marked inprovements in their reasoning capabilities.
So where will your info come from Mr. empiracist. PROVE YOUR POINT. WAH WAH WAH YOU CANT.

I will not argue with another person of the faith. You are not under attack. Scientists have already stated that they can clone a human being. My point is that if they did, I find it hard to believe that what they would create, would have a soul. ONLY GOD CAN GIVE A SOUL.

Yes

Only God can give a soul just as only God can give life and yet God can give life by the intimate relationship of a husband and wife. He also allows life from illigitimate relationships such as adulterous couples, or victims of rape, He also allows life from IVF, and He also allows the life of cloned individuals.

While humans can clone matter, they cannot clone souls.

Cloning is merely producing an "identical" body or housing for the soul by interferring in the procreation of the gametes leading to an embryonic phase and so forth

The soul is a gift from God within a body. We exist as living souls otherwise known as human beings. Until God breathed life into Adam's nostrils he was merely a corpse.

If you want to be accurate, Hebrew people do not think in terms of body, soul and spirit, they think in terms of a whole. They don't separate them as we do

question is not if you can do it, because clearly you can
question is should you interfere with God's order of procreation between a man and a woman?

It's AntiOccult - not AntiOxidant.

As soon as u prove a soul exists, or are able to prove where the soul is in a body, then u have a foot to stand on in your argument.
If a humans brain functions, he will have free thought, etc...

***EDIT***
Since when does intelligence have anything to do with a soul?
So u are saying a monkey or dog has no soul because they aren't intelligent.
That makes no sense.
We have free thought and a mentallity because we are at the top of the food chain, we are the most advanced creature on Earth.
Just a note: they cloned sheep before, and there is nothing wrong with it, it is the same as any other sheep, it eats, bahs, has sex, it even knows to sit down when australians walk past.
The koran says all living creatures have a soul and worships Allah in their own way.
Buddhists believe in reincarnation, where a rat has a soul which might be someone back in different form.
I'm a xtian by-the-way, i believe in souls, just u are arguing from a religious point of view, not scientific.
So if someone is created artificially, via artificial insemination, u say they don't have a soul, then why are some of them religious, and have a mentality?
Should they be classed as non-human, for they bear no soul.

yes. Lets make my thought process easy for you.

Prove you have a soul. Show me where it is. Tell me where you keep it. Do you use it all the time?

Now, this means that either a soul is something physical or something metaphysical. Since you yourself say that its something God created out of nothing, it means its somewhere physical, since if it was still nothing, it wouldn't be anything.

Now, if the soul is physical, that means somewhere in the genetic structure is the "soul" which would get cloned over, since its the exact same as the original donor which means while it wouldn't have an individual soul, it would have an identical one to one that already exists.

The other option, since the soul is the -spiritual- presence of the human body, lets just clone more atheists and be done with it.

If you think thats true then surely you would support cloning as a means to test your theory.

Besides, there is very little difference in cloning a human and a human being created inside a uterus. It's just the beginning stages that are different, otherwise the developing embryo becomes a baby just like in any other circumstance.

in the starting up, human cloning isn't achievable, no longer yet a minimum of. although a sheep named Dolly has effectively been created with the help of cloning. they're engaged on human cloning bt we r nonetheless a recommendations away frm witnessing a human clone. technological expertise thinks of guy as extra of a ensemble, that they r made from a numbr of organ structures that paintings mutually n make life achievable without everywhere of the entity named 'soul'. heart pumps d bld, mind controls the body, kidneys eliminate waste n so on. those scientists hav a reasn to beleive that god has no longer something to do with all of this. Cloning continues to be in very early ranges to hav any criminal subject matters...whethr it really is moral or no longer continues to be a count number of dialogue, like various attempt linked with genetic engineering.

Clonning is not creating something out of dust ..or nothing..

I'll Quote Surah 22 or Quran(Translation by Shakir Ali)

73. O people, here is a parable that you must ponder carefully: the idols you set up beside GOD can never create a fly, even if they banded together to do so. Furthermore, if the fly steals anything from them, they cannot recover it; weak is the pursuer and the pursued.

74. They do not value GOD as He should be valued. GOD is the Most Powerful, the Almighty.

75. GOD chooses from among the angels messengers, as well as from among the people. GOD is Hearer, Seer.

76. He knows their past and their future. To GOD belongs the ultimate control of all matters.

77. O you who believe, you shall bow, prostrate, worship your Lord, and work righteousness, that you may succeed.

Let me ask you something: do children born via the process of in vitro fertilisation have a soul? of course they do! Also would God allow us to clone something if he were not going to put a soul into it?

according to the bible, God is the only one who rightfully exercises the control over human life. to assert control over things like this is to place oneself in God’s position. clearly man isn't to do this. i can't say the clone would have a soul, or that he wouldn't. it is not clear. i can say though that cloning, with its destruction of human embryos would not be consistent with the bible’s view of human life.

we are not just a collection of organisms, which accidentally occurred, and have remained in place for some time. the bible clearly teaches that God created each of us, and has a specific plan for each of us.

You are definitely telling a lie by saying that a man could clone another human. It is considered nonsense question.

You can not compare God to man.
Rom 9:20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
Rom 9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
Rom 9:22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
Rom 9:23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
Rom 9:24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
Rom 9:25 As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.
Rom 9:26 And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.
Rom 9:27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:
Rom 9:28 For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.
Rom 9:29 And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha.
Rom 9:30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.
Rom 9:31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
Rom 9:32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;
Rom 9:33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

look, first you have to postulate a soul. It is bunk. It cannot be observed, measured, verified experimentally or anything.

The bible also says the earth is flat and that the sun revolves around it so maybe you shouldn't put too much trust in what it has to say.
