Or is it like a mindstomach? Does the quest for "knowledge"(and I use that term loosely) fill the mind, stomach or both?

Ummm...., don't know what inane point you are trying to make here but by definition atheists do not believe in a God. As for the quest for knowledge, well that fills the brain and hopefully is not restricted to atheists.

They try very hard to say they believe in no god/devil, but when the ones I know have had their feet to the fire they always seem to come around (Iraq- there are no atheist in a vehicle being blown apart, conversion comes quickly).

Darwin studied theology
Most atheists have read the bible.
Have you ever read a science book or do you prefer to be a pompous ignorant fool?
Hey Zippy...answer my question. Have you ever read a book that disagrees with your point of view? Or are you happy with your closed little mind?

Atheists are people who don't believe that gods exist, including yours. Not all of them go on crusades to deconvert the religious. Me, for example. I'm an atheist, but I don't care whether you are, or aren't.

My question is whether or not it can be said that somebody who asks these questions even has a mind. Is that person more of a robot or a mindless zombie?

Athiests don't belive there is enough evidence of the supernatural to belive in an all knowing, omnipotent being.

An atheist doesn't have a "god" that is what the word "atheist" means: A = without, theist = god.

It must be my stomach, I always listen to it when it talks, and then I get up and give it what it wants.

Clever... but silly. There is no atheist "god." We seek fact and truth that can be proven. Yes, knowledge.
