i believe in God and i love Him with ALL my heart,so don't anyone confuse that ok :)my christian friends,i would like to ask a question from you.

if you had a friend, who was not at all attractive, would you tell him"sorry mate, don't think you'll ever be able to get a girl.you're ugly you know"? no.it's rude and insensitive and a totally horrible thing to do.i think we would all agree on that.

why don't you use this same compassion that Jesus taught us when speaking to people of other faiths?i see so many answers posted by christians saying"sorry, your God is false.Jesus is the only way"when a person of another faith asks a question.is it right for us to belittle another's faith? Just as much asWE love God,doesn't that other personALSOlove their God?is it a surprise that christians seem to be unpopular?and do you think that we can ever be able to save them by humiliating them?they're just going to move further and further away...
and since there is only one God,though people may

think different, does it matter what anyone calls him? personally,i think God is big hearted and kind enough to not mind whether he's called God,Allah,Maha Brahma or anything.the important thing is,all these people LOVE God.

i believe that God will love anyone who is good and who believes in Him.(i'm not referring to atheists here though i have nothing against them).why must we try to get them to love God in OUR way?why not leave a Hindu as he is? after all,he's praying to God in his own way isn't he?

after observing this forum, what i feel is every time a christian says"Accept Jesus and all will be well"we seem to be gaining the hatred of 10 people and deservedly so because really and truly some people here have been so arrogant that i can hardly believe they were christians!

please,God's message is LOVE,and that includes manners doesn't it?...let's not be insensitive to other faiths because we're accomplishing nothing but antagonism :( you're comments?

Yes you explained it perfectly...thats excactly what I feel. The perfect answer to "What religion is true" is whatever one brings you closer to loving God and of course others. God doesnt judge us on what we believe but rather whats in our hearts.....right? This is the first time I've seen somebody look at it as I did....Wow. You made my day with that question.

Lets not be offensive to other peoples religion...but we ought to show our Light- the Love we have for God so they might come to know him better.

I understand your feelings, and it is true so many people do not preach the gospel message with love. However, I will not say another faith is right, and I will tell that person that faith does not bring one to God. Jesus Christ is the only way, no if, ands, or buts about it. You see I care for the lost and because I care I do preach the gospel of Jesus Christ being the only way to heaven because it is the truth. What kind of person would I be if I told them their way was OK when I knew it was a lie? However, I do not belittle anyone belief I just say this is what I believe and why I believe it and I say they too can have the same things from Christ Jesus if they only believe in Him. Also I try to show genuine kindness and love to people to show that I am one of Christs followers. This way they will hear the message and see my actions of my faith and think "hey maybe there is something to this Jesus thing". It is true I do need some work in the action part and I could do so much more for Christ. Also I know it is not the Christian who ultimately brings the person to faith in Christ, all we do is plant the seed. It is the Holy Spirit that brings a person to faith in Christ, all the person has to do is respond to the Spirit's prompts. Peace be with you.

God tells us in His written Word, the Bible that He is a jealous God. There can be no other gods before Him.

He sent to the earth His only begotten Son, Jesus for the purpose of the sacrificial death for our sins. Do you believe that God would say oh well, what ever. If they don't believe that I did this, they can make up their own way. No!

John 3:16.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For god did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."
This is ultimate love.......

Jesus is the only way for forgiveness of sin. Why would you lie to people just to be nice? Sure we need to love them enough to tell them the "Good News", not a lie. They will either accept or not. But we must tell the truth.

Daisy, Christians are not only followers of Christ but, they are His bride. If you are married, do you just go with any man or your husband? In chapter 22:17 of Revelation, God says, The Spirit and the bride say "Come!"

I agreed with you until I read this -

"I believe that God will love anyone who is good and who believes in Him.(i'm not referring to atheists here though i have nothing against them)."

That cancels out your whole post. It was a wonderful thought, and a great idea, but then you just excluded a whole group of people while preaching to others to spread love.

Hmm, suppose you came to my laboratory and I had many beakers filled with clear liquids, unlabled. Now, I know the contents of each one since it's my lab, however you do not.
Yet, to my horror, you decide that you are thirsty and pick up one of the beakers to drink from.
Is it "rude, insensitive and totally horrible" to tell you not to drink from the one you've picked up that contains deadly poison? Is that belittling or humilating you? No! I would not be very compassionate if I left you to figure out on your own by drinking, which were safe and which were deadly.

The Owner/Scientist (God) has written an instruction Book, the Bible, showing us what the Living Water is like and warning us what the poisonous faiths, created by His Enemy Satan, look like as well. He has charged His assistants (Christians) to point them the right way.

I do agree with you in some mannar. We do need to be careful so that WE dont offend but the bible does say that the truth is offensive.

I do agree that we are not going to win people over by humiliating them. But as christians we are to believe that the bible is the word of God, and His word in infaliable. And the bible does say that there is no way to The Father but by the Son Jesus Christ. And the Bible does say to have no other Gods before me.

Please dont get me wrong, I do not want to offend or humiliate people as much as you do, BUT you also have to distinguish what is right and wrong. Do you believe that the word of God is truth? If so, than you will not agree with different religions.

Also as christians it is our commission to preach the good news, and the good news IS Jesus Christ. Because He died for us.

Like I said, I do agree with you partially, but I do not think it is ok to accept other Gods when the bible clearly states not to.

You have got to be kidding. You are calling youself a Christian but saying the God of Christianity, Jesus, can be called Allah, Buddha or whatever pleases others. As for your comment on there only being one God, read the first commandment where God mentions other Gods (pluralized). You need to open your bible and actually read it.

Well i think if others are praying to their own gods well that's okay us Christians just want to let them know how the one and only God is!! when i speak about Jesus i tell people my experience with the Lord and i tell them about him i don't speak to any one in a demanding way like "if you don't believe in God your going to rot in hell" or "your god isn't going to save you!" i always have my respect!! and about the people that are Hindu . . . well that's not a way to worship our God when i was a "Catholic" i told Christians they were liars and i would say yeah i believe in Jesus but you know what when i finally decided to see if God was really there he wasn't i lied to myself then i tried searching for the Lord in my heart by praising him at my "Catholic" church and i felt nothing finally i became a Christian and i accepted the Lord in my heart and every time i sing to my Lord i can feel the spirit deep in my heart and that's when the tears come its a feeling that i have never experienced before in the "Catholic" church!! i let the Lord take my heart and soften so that it is worthy of his love !!! well yeah that's my testimony !!

Okay. I will try to put this nicely. You claim to love God...However you are also saying that it is cool if others want to worship a different god and that we should all be okay with that? Is that right? Well, girly you need to get your head on straight. If you love God, then you know that He does not want anyone to go to hell. You also know that He is a jealous God and wants His creation to worship Him. And you know that He is very upset when people pray to a false god. And yet, you post this. Wow. All we are going to get by doing the whole, "you praise your god and I'll praise mine, and we can all get along" is a bunch of people going to hell. This is exactly what the devil is wanting. Enough with all this pc garbage. If you do not believe in God AND His Son Jesus you are going to hell. If you have not accepted Jesus' gift of salvation and turned from your sin, you are going to hell. Take the gloves off. Babying people and letting them go along with their happy evil selves is not helping anyone. We, as Christians, are supposed to spread God's word....To try and saved the lost. Stop with all the sunshine and butterflies and tell people the truth. I truly hope God ministers to your heart and shows you the error of your post. God bless you.

Well God don't like being called buddah...sorry
Allah means God in arab.
Yes love is very important but so is warning every man.
Just as the bible says. If you are a Christian you are to warn every man. Not just conform. Tell the people who do wicked things what the bible says. Homosexuality is wrong for example. You may conform to it, your preacher may, but God doesn't. So to answer your question, WWJD?
