My energy will go on forever, so then, there is only a full death for your body, but your energy will go on forever, there will only be a shift in matter.......

I believe in reincarnation, but I do not believe in heaven or hell, so there is no chance that I would ever go there no matter how many lives I live.
So that also answers the other part of your question, as a believer in reincarnatin I know that I won't ever be
"dead forever without any form of consciousness."
However, if I HAD to choose between dead forever and coming back to live this same life I am living right now, I would probably choose dead forever.

Unfortunately, the Bible says nothing about dead forever, or nothingness. And being born again, there is a 100% surety that you are going to heaven. Not 50/50. Where did you get that? Not being born again, (it's only fair to include what Jesus said about it), eternal darkness, the lake of fire, or eternal torment. No-brainer, right?

I'm betting that death is going to be a lot like the time before I was conceived. Nothingness. I do not believe in an afterlife. Given the hypothetical situation, I would still take the "death with no consciousness" option. Besides, all of the really interesting people would be in hell anyway (Mark Twain, Einstein, George Washington, Thomas Paine, Thomas Jefferson...none of them Christians).

dead forever...being alive for eternity, heaven or hell, takes all that is special away from the life we live RIGHT NOW. I would never want to live forever. At some point, after trillions of years, eternity sounds incredibly boring

That's tough. We're looking at a risk vs. reward scenario with both infinite risk (hell) and infinite reward (heaven). I think the best move here might be (given the choice) to avoid eternal justice and live life to the fullest within this mortal coil.

What is heaven or Hell. Do we have any reports from anybody who has been there. Or is it all just travel agent baloney.
If heaven was real and the preachers real why haven't the preachermen already gone there.

The older I get, the more I wish I had another chance at life. I never thought I'd say that, but it's true. I'd take being born again.

Id prefer to be dead forever
