Somebody asked christians to "prove that God is not a mirage" and instead od ANSWERING the question, they say evasive stuff like "prove that God isn't a mirage"etc etc....one person even said "that's not my job" so if she doesn't regard that as her job, then WHY does she regard it her job to "save" people?

if u ask atheists to tell you the evidence for evolution ,they'll give you atleast a basic description of it.

if you say,"prove that evolution is true" does an atheist say "well why don't you prove that it's wrong"?

Another thing i've noticed is,you always seem to give the same "set response" for each question...without even bothering to READ the question....when a person asks a specific question s/he's not interested in answers like "God loves you"! h/she wants the answer to that question BEING asked!

if you really believe in what you say,why is it so hard for you to DIRECTLY answer a question?

Because they can't answer the question.

i'm answering the final section as I responded the different factors in the previous. there is the Time of the Gentiles. it fairly is very nearly over. it is the time God is giving to non Jews to settle for Jesus Messiah as their Saviour because of the Jews rejection of the Messiah at his first introduction. The Olivet Prophecy mentions a time " Jerusalem would be trampled on via the Gentiles until the situations of the Gentiles are fulfilled" Luke 21 v 24. no longer all Gentile will exchange into believers because of the fact someplace else it states that the worldwide would be violent like the time of Noah and that would desire to signify particularly some unbelieving Gentiles regarding the placement .

Prove that God is not a mirage.

Okay, here goes:

1. It is mathematically impossible for order to come from chaos. Sand does not combine to form a watch in the desert. It must be designed by a maker.

2. The Second Law of Thermodynamics -- notice a LAW alone disproves the THEORY of Evolution. This basically states that all matter is in a state of deterioration. Nothing is improving, but on the contrary getting worse. Bodies, buildings and even the Earth itself is losing its vitality. Even the Sun in shrinking.

Some conscious powerful being started all this. These two points alone provide enough scientific proof that there is a Power in the Universe.

The faith in a personal God is obtained by an objective study of the Bible. If done with a truly open mind it leads to a hope and call by the God (who presents Himself in the Bible) to believe in Him. He introduces Himself, and explains who He is and what He wants from us.

By the way. The number one thing God wants is a relationship with each person. That is all. He does not want to dominate and stifle our lives, He wants to guide us like a Father guides His children in protective love.

Here is a direct answer to one of the examples you gave.

Please be so kind as to respond directly. I do not expect you to necessarily agree, but please join with me in an OBJECTIVE exchange of ideas as to why or why you do not accept the two specific scientific proofs that there is a God.

I will check back soon. Respectfully...A Christian

Probably because Christians don't feel like we have to prove ourselves or that God exist. He just does. No amount of speaking to an unbeliever...that has their mind set on disproving God really exist.... is going to work. I don't go on this post very often because of that reason.
I am a Christian and I would love everyone to believe in eternal life through Jesus Christ but I am not going to beat someone over the head with my beliefs.

The Best Way I can prove the existence of God is What He has done for Me. He took my empty sad life and made it something worth living.

Because belief is a leap of faith. I believe in God based on what I have experienced in my life. I believe in God based on the testimony of people that I know and trust. I believe in God based on what I know of quantum physics and basic biology. God warns us that we will sound foolish to the unbeliever. I think the fact that He is unprovable by words or science is rather the point. He wants a relationship with you and for you to allow Him to prove Himself. We are answering the question but you are refusing to listen.

I did answer your question.

You will never know God with out faith. That's the bottom line. What more do you want? If your spirit is not drawn to him than you are not of God. If you say prove it you'll never see him or know him. You must believe.

To answer your question directly I would have to say that Christians don't have all the answers....there are some things we are not suppose to know at this time...if we knew all the answers then there would be no need for faith...so when we are asked a question that we have no answer for except faith, we tend not to answer the question....but when it does rely on faith, our faith is that God loves all and wants ALL to come to him through His Son Jesus Christ....when we don't know the answer, we look to our faith, which at times is hard to put down into words....

Obviously you didn't read all the answers.

We answered the question with a question b/c this issue can only go back and forth.

A Christian can't irrefutably prove God exists anymore than an atheist can prove He doesn't. So our point is, ask a better question.

Proving evolution is a lot different than proving or disproving God.

Jesus came that may have life, the bibles says answer not a fool in is ways when you percieve folly. Or you will sound like him. Jesus is the way the truth and the life. Are you saved 1 John 3 verse 16 for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Jesus is the proof, don't you understand? He performed miracles, he said he was the Son of God, he fulfilled all the prophecies in the old testament, he was crucified and he resurrected. All of these facts can be found in the gospels. They were written by eyewitnesses.

"The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."
John 1:14

You can chose to believe the gospel or not, it's your choice, that's faith.

But know this, all historical and archaeological facts support what the gospel says. But even then, you need faith to believe Jesus was the Son of God. Remember, people back then saw miracles before their own eyes and still did not believe.
