Christ came to the Jew 1st, BUT after they rejected Him, Salvation was made to the Gentiles. If you want more help, please let me know. I always usually say if you want more help please let me know, but I never get a request so maybe the questions are not asked to learn something about Gods word, because That IS the ONLY thing, (Gods Word), I use to answer these type of questions. The only other thing I can think of is that what I have said in my answer is something that some may learn about themself and that they will have to change from what they are doing wrong. I am NO scholar, BUT have studied for years and years the scriptures and have them to back me up in what I say. Anyone can feel free to check out my answers in Gods Word and choose to learn more OR just ignore it. Gods Word does NOT Lie and that IS the ONLY Book I use to answer these questions. maybe I answer too deep fpr them, and maybe I should use the Milk of the Word instead of the Meat. IF that is the case it is my fault, BUT I have never been told otherwise so until I do I will keep as I am doing. There are a lot of good intentions, BUT that does NOT make it Right. There is also a lot of False Information given out concerning Gods Word along with Copy and Paste Answers by SOME who do not know what it means anyhow. Even in todays Churches there are a lot of Spiritually Ignorant so-called Super Preachers who DO NOT Know Gods Word enough to be TRYING to Teach it. Ignorance Abounds in Churches today, and IN TODAY'S World IT IS the Most Time WE NEED THE TRUTH.

You may want to do some actual research on this question. The fact is that many of the actions recorded in the Bible are seen in the religions of most of the rest of the world. Almost every major religion records a creation story, Almost every major religion records a great flood in which (usually) a single family is saved. Almost every major religion has some form of "incarnation", that is that God will represent himself in human form. Almost every major religion has God presenting or requiring some kind of sacrifice to make thing right between himself and humans.
It is like the old story about the blind men who wanted to see an elephant. Each felt a different part of the animal (the ear, the trunk, the foot, the side, the tail) and came away with a different idea of what an elephant was (a fan, a hose, a tree stump, a wall, a snake). Each had only part of the truth.
Throughout history God has been doing his best to reveal everything he can about himself. He has done it to every people and tribe on earth. That is why belief in him is almost universal. But different groups have managed to understand more of it then others.
It was the Jewish people in the Middle East who were the only ones who managed to get the whole thing"right". And even then it took generation after generation of revealing himself to get everything to them.
So it was to that group, the only ones with the full foundation needed to understand him, that God made the final revelation of himself in the Incarnation - God becoming flesh in the person of Jesus Christ.
So it is not that God was only revealing himself to the Jews. It just that they happened to be the ones who mananged to understand the message first.

Because God choose to reveal Himself to the Jewish people..the only ones who worshiped Him and even aknowledged His existence. In the Old Testiment, He often revealed great miracles to all peoples who were living in the cradle of civilization (which we would now call the Middle East), but it was only a handful of Jews who diligently recorded these events and kept records of them. Other people decided to make their own gods and scatter all over the world, keeping their continued ignorance about God.
Jesus was God`s "2nd chance" if you will for the world to know the true God once again. God reveals Himself all over the globe and has been doing so since the time of Christ...yes even here in Japan you can see evidence of those who believed in Christ during the Hideoshi Shogun period.

I have actually heard that Jesus was not the son of a poor carpenter (Joseph), but was the son of a wealthy businessman. In addition to this, I have heard that he traveled to Europe and Asia. I have read nothing historical about this, I'm just stating what I had heard, a few years ago. This could explain why there are many aspects of Buddhism in Christianity. I have no idea if there is any truth to this, as it is not in the Bible, but perhaps the writers of Biblical text did not find it relevant to include this. Also, I have heard that Jesus may have appeared to people in North America before he ascended into heaven, so everyone would have a chance to see him. I think I saw that on the history channel.

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and we believe, just as the Lord said in the Bible, that He had other sheep that were not of that fold that He would also visit. We believe the Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ, to be a testament of ancient peoples of the Americas that tesitfy of seeing the resurrected Lord. Prophets were also among those people and the Book of Mormon is a record of those people who also testify that they did see the Christ and He preached and establishe His gospel among them just as He did in the old world.

Because Jesus Christ came to the Jews Only. He exclusively preached to His own people. Between A.D. 44 and A.D. 70 the preaching about Jesus was spread from Briton to Japan. Gravestones, writings left behind, ancient houses of prayer, correspondence between believers and references in government documents attest to these facts.

For one thing, God was known and Europe as well. Paul went to Italy and Greece. Also, God said he loved the whole world, and Jesus said to make disciples of all nations. We are supposed to do the work to spread the gospel. God inspired the message of the Bible, now it is our responsibility to pass it on to the rest of the world. God loves all people, and I think he is present in other countries, just not in the Bible. I can think of one example. An African prince named Kaboo was held captive by some very bad people and just when they were about to execute him, God shown his light around that place and Kaboo managed to escape. Kaboo eventually found missionaries, discovered that God had been the source of light, and Kaboo became a Christian and was known as Samuel Morris when he came to the United States. He lived in Ft.Wayne, Indiana and he helped bring all kinds of different people to have faith in Christ. God is evident in every land, I don't know why God didn't have the Bible written in other places, but that's the way he did it. Thanks for reading and God bless.

It was foretold in prophecy that the Christ would bring the gospel to the jew first then after they rejected him the gentile.
Where were most of the jews?
His disciples spread the gospel all over after they received the holy spirit. Jesus told them the Holy spirit would help them remember all things pertaining to salvation/Jesus.
Paul spread the gospel all over, all the way to Rome.

This depends on what you will accept as evidence. If you accept the witness of a stunningly beautiful and complex creation, then all of the world has seen and is without excuse. If you will accept the scriptural account as valid, then at least one of His stated reasons was to separate out a people for Himself so that the rest of the world could clearly see what the benefits of belonging to Him are. In order to do this, He had to pick and choose.
This is one of the strongest arguments against the notion of God being racist. The fact is that God explicitly told the Hebrews that He chose them not for their righteousness' sake because they were a stiff-necked and rebellious people; not for their greatness as a people, for they were small and insiginificant; but for His name's sake. In other words, God chose the Jews in order to give Himself an admirable reputation.

The theory of the christian god originated in the middle east because that is where christianity began. Jesus is supposed to represent a holy trinity, as god as the father, as god as the son, and as god as the holy ghost. Why is it that Shinto belief was not practiced in places other than japan, until frequent migrations of populations began taking place?
