Serious offer but it has to follow its weight and still be consistent with biblical teaching. I will read your responses and send you an email if you can actually prove it. However, I doubt this will happen

do Jesus's teachings words mean anything to you?? like when he says this..........

5"And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 6But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. 7And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.
8"Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. 9In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11Give us this day our daily bread.
12And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

14"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

My friend asked a question asking people to bless my marriage. I see some on here are confused. Ok, here is enough of the story so you know what happened, but not all of it. I married my ex husband at 18. He was run by culture and ignored what everyone said starting about 2 years into the marriage until it ended in its fifth year. During those 5 years, we had 2 children, a boy and a girl. Due to what had happed between my ex and I, I was given full custody and the divorce I used my islamic rights to get. He has no right to see them, and we don't need his money as we are very well off as it is. I also had a good friend during this entire time who was talking to my mom as my ex was extremely jealous. Through the divorce, my best friend was there for me. After the divorce went through, we started to talking again and decided it would be good to start a relationship. He proposed a short while ago, and now we are marrying in May. Does that clear the air, those that didn't know?

See this kid, he's young and yet, full of reason, tolerance and desire for peace. To my understanding, very Christ-like.

Why can't we have more Christians like this?

Instead of insulting, attacking and bashing everyone (including themselves really, the Catholics), why can't more Christians promote tolerance and peace instead of bigotry?

Instead of telling others are wrong, why can't they go help the world instead? Like, Muslims and Hindus. If they want to think these people are misled by Satan, fine, whatever. But the serial killers, rapists, robbers, they're under Satan, don't you think?

So here we have peaceful Muslims and Hindus, and then we have serial killers, rapists, robbers, in your right mind, who should you bother more about?

And don't bullcrap me about soul>life, you can't save souls of dead people.

Was killing one's children a custom?
Somewhere in the past I read in Moses' time it was a cultural practice to kill children. Can anyone verify this? I have read it was a custom (probably religious) in some cultures to do this...vaguely recall it was certain American Indians....any historians listening

Evidence??

I like John 3:5...you must be born again! Water and Spirit....meaning baptism and a whole new person, (changed spirit) is the way in to heaven.

On the other hand, I also think that men try to kkep people OUT of Heaven...G-d tries to get people IN. Probably easier than I think.

Thoughts?? Only those backed up with scripture will be considered for 10 points.

(isnt that a nice change from "dont use the Bible!")

The British psychiatists say that telling your children this will have Long term effects.
A psychiatrist was riased in a christian family and her parents told her about it too soon and she not only become an Atheist but After 40 years she still cried when she thought about it.

[If you are going to tell your kids this, PLEASE wait untill they are old enough, like 12-13!!!]

First off Im a Christian

Brothers Christ is the way , but Christs greatest commandment was to love God, and many time the bible show him refering to god as a seperate being

Some say: Christ said that he is in God, and god is in him

1 John 4:15-17 says that if we live in love were living in god

1 John 4:13 says that the holy spirit inside you is god living in you

So you are one with God.

Just as Christ was one with God.

Moses was one with God

The prophets were one with God

But none of them were God. In the old testament we read that God is a very jealous God

why would he create another God???

Jesus is the Christ the Messiah, son of God , our lord and King and Savior of all man kind. But not God

the holy spirit is the spirit of God

But not a God to itself

so there is no Trinity. the apostles says christ is god, yes they do many times

But we follow Christ and he never said that

Is it occurring more and more that churches are claiming that baptism is not necessary? What are some names of churches saying this? Someone told me that Baptist is one of them. How wide spread is this idea? What are the name of the few churches that hold to baptism as essential? I believe Jesus would not of waisted his time getting baptized and setting the example if it was not necessary. It was to pro-fill his righteousness.

I'm really sorry to have brought this up, but it had bothered me since sep 13. When the images of the WTC crumbling down like dust so looked like the images being described in the bible's book of daniel somewhere in chapter 2. wherein the statue symbolized kingdoms that will rule the earth in succession, and in the time of the last kingdom, a stone came out of nowhere, hit the statue and it fell into pieces. I have though about this for some time already as you might have thought, but now that I have some opportunity to ask, I only found this site last month, and I want to know if anyone else have found these to be a prediction for the events in 9/11. I personally dont find the nostradamus predictions to be good because its so broad, and could be interpreted in many different ways. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks to this web-site we have a computer record of a very sizable percentage,so hey that's something to start with. But I mean really. Why don't we just do it?

I'm not talking about universalism (everyone gets saved) but annihilationism (punishment then destruction for sinners).

Check out this essay and let me know what you think:

I'm talking more to Christians and people who are open-minded to the possibility of what this question is entailing. If you just want to say religion is evil or something, that isn't helpful.

Atheists, what do Christians say that hurts or irritates you? Christians what do Atheists say that hurts or irritates you? Based on these answers we'll have ground room for improvement. We can put ourselves in each others shoes and try to see ourselves based off another's perspective. This may be eye-opening. Seeing yourself from another person's perspective can allow you to see the truth about yourself and your behavior. May we all learn to accept each others differences in love and understanding is what I pray for, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
