In 525,600 minutes - how do you measure a year in the life?

How about love? How about love? How about love?
Measure in love.

Time is precious, life's too short.
Why not spend it loving each other regardless?

I've read this term several times on this forum and I'm not really happy about it.

Would you use this term to describe anyone who does not believe in Muhammad and the Quran?

Are you aware that not believing in Muhammad and the Quran does not equal hating Muslims?

Are you aware that openly speaking about one's disbelief in Muhammad and the Quran or believing that Isalm is a false religion does not equal hating Muslims?

I just defended myself because Deep sky keeps saying I'm a heretic just because I defend the Muslims and other people from the jaws of my own kind.

I try to practice what Jesus taught us. To love everyone. To forgive. To show mercy.

Now, Deep Sky seems to like mirrors if you ask me, he keeps talking to them. I never called you things like heretic or being on the side of the devil

I just said you said awful things to me. All because I wanted to defend the innocent. Who is on God's side?

I would like to instill a sense of calm to the world. We should not show anger to those that are diffrent, but instead embrace those that have diffrent things to teach us. We do not have to belive what someone else belives, but we should still have an understanding of it. Through this philosphy, (and that is an extremly dumbed down example of it) I would hope to obtain a worlds where people can remain diffrent, but still have the common ground of being human.

The beautiful thing about a philosophy is that anyone of any faith can follow a philosophy as it doesn't try to take the place of their religon.

It CANNOT mean before christ because according to research christ was born in 4 B.C and died about 27 A.D.( Pears Cyclopedia, 1959/1960 edition.) Being pagan I find the absolute hypocrisy in christianity to be very interesting ( NO i'm not saying all christians are hypocrites.) and love to find out the true facts behind the stories we were force fed when growing up.I think I know what it really stands for but i lost the books containing all that information in a house fire and have not been able to replace them.

I have been looking through the category of religion and spirituality today and I have been disturbed by the amount of unhealthy intolerance that people are showing one another. Some messages are plain abuse and some questions are just inconsiderate and anyone who leaves a non-abuse message about their opinions or beliefs is criticized by other users. It really is quite disgusting. It is not just one group or another. It is everyone. Every faith that I have ever encountered or looked into usually promotes peace and love and yet it is the fundamentalists who slander and abuse one another. No doubt, I will also receive some abuse for daring to pose such a controversial question (sarcasm intended). So tell me, why are so many of the people who post questions and answers here so disgustingly intolerant?

awful for forgiveness? Sometimes its the pointlessness of it. If we forgive monsters it is feared we will shrink their horror. Forgiveness may reduce them so a tolerant society begins to swallow and digest evil. Forgiving monsters blurs over suffering & death. Cultivates sensitivity toward the murderer at the price of sensitivity toward the victim. This puts it precisely where it belongs at the bar of honesty with those who suffer. Forgiving doesnt reduce evil. There is no real forgiving unless there is first relentless exposure, honest judgement. When we forgive evil we do not excuse it we do not tolerate it or smother it. We look evil in the face call it what it is & let its horror shock, stun & enrage us. Only then do we forgive it. If we say that monsters are beyond forgiving we give them power to sentence victims to a lifetime of unhealed pain. The truth is that ordinary ppl do extrodinary evil. We need to judge them. Then forgive them, if we can, in order to be healed. ~)~
