Is inaction also subject to this spiritual law?

Will you be left to say: (with apologies to Niemöller)

When the trolls came for the Pagans
I remained silent;
I was not a Pagan.

When they deleted the Atheists
I remained silent;
I was not an Atheist.

When they came for the Christians,
I did not speak out;
I was not a Christian.

When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out.

Assuming the Bible is true (and assuming all major faiths believe in the same God however named), then should people who willingly sin and act defiant towards God/disbelieve in God have rights?

For instance, if people are downright ruthless criminals, cheaters, liars, fornicators, and drug abusers (usually always by CHOICE), should we expect God to want to protect them? Should he? Should God allow them to be destroyed? Like in the Bible?

If you were God (even if you don't believe let us use some imgination and logic for a minute) what would you do if the world you oversee had become a cesspool of evil, sin, and corruption? Would you let it culminate until it destroyed itself, or would you step in? If you believe, what do you think God will do? Society is getting more and more corrupt. We are destroying our health and our earth. Violence is senseless now. What should God do, since people obviously aren't making any effort to change? Perhaps they need something to fear...

Ephesians - Chapter 5:22-24,33
22. Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord.
23. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savoir.
24. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
33. ...and the wife must respect her husband.v
25Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Or he ascended to Paradise and left his body. Because he said to the malefactors at his right hand “you will be with me this day in Paradise”.
Luk 23:42: Then he went on to say, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom!"
Luk 23:43: Jesus said to him, "Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise."

His sin was what the bible call sin against Holy Spirit which means denying the authority of God and notice I said authorithy and not power because Satan knows that Jehovah is Infinite times more powerful, when Satan the Cherub that God set in the Garden of Edem became evil (ezekiel 28:11-15) what he did with Eve was doubting that the authority of God is the best one, When you see in the book of Job 1:6 and 2:1 that all the sons of God (angels) where in a meeting including Satan and also the firstson of God the one that later we will know as Jesus, Satan again put in doubth the loyalty of people under God´s command the main accusation was to the firstson of God what the bible said that God gave to his firstson all the authorithy that is why God sent his firstson his best servant (Isaiah 42:1) to the earth to prove to Satan the despite of his Son loose all the privilege that he has in heaven because been the firstson of the Almighty has all advantage the firstson will remain loyalty.

I mean WOW! what an amazing guy. I don't usually get emotional about things that happen so far away, but I thought that was very moving, so sad, and yet so heroic. It is so sad that it takes the worst of humanity to bring out the best.

Judgmental, violent, and blaming others for his own actions . . . was Cho simply religious and 'acting out' his beliefs?

"A law enforcement official who read Cho's note described it Tuesday as a typed, eight-page rant against rich kids and religion. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media.

"You caused me to do this," the official quoted the note as saying.

"Cho indicated in his letter that the end was near and that there was a deed to be done, the official said. He also expressed disappointment in his own religion, and made several references to Christianity, the official said. "

I have 2 friends who have decided to go religious. Which is fine - everybody needs something to believe in and I would never knock their decision. In fact, I thought maybe I should actually try to read the bible. I'm on the first page and I already have questions.....

First of all, why does God say he would make human beings in OUR image to be like US. Who is "us"?

Then as I read the Adam and Eve part, I wondered why God was smart enough to make the plants bear seeds to grow more plants, but didn't initially make a man AND a woman so human would reproduce. That makes no sense to me. AND he gave Adam animals as companions first? I just can't believe if he's so intelligent why he wouldn't create man and woman at the same time. Otherwise, making just Adam gives me the idea he initially only had plans for one human. It just doesn't make any sense. And this is why I have issues with the Bible. I can't even get past the first page without finding things that simply don't add up.

If you look at stats for teen/underage sex and pre-marital sex it seems that only a tiny minority of the young are socially conservative.

In 50 years time will the promiscuity and failed marriages of, for instance, the Hollywood libs be the norm for the rest of society?

A young man was getting ready to graduate from college. For many
months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealers showroom,
and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all
he wanted.

As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his
father had purchased the car. Finally,on the morning of his
graduation, his father called him into his private study. His father
told him how proud he was to have such a fine son,and told him how
much he loved him. He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box.
Curious, but somewhat disappointed,the young man opened the box and
found a lovely,leather-bound Bible, with the young man's name embossed
in gold.

Angrily, he raised his voice to his father and said,"With all your
money you give me a Bible?" and stormed out of the house, leaving the Bible.
Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business.
He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father
was very old and thought perhaps he should go to him.

He had not seen Him since that graduation day.

But before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling
him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to
his son. He needed to come home immediately and take care of things.
When he arrived at his father's house,sudden sadness and regret filled
his heart. He began to search through his father's important papers
and saw the still new Bible,just as he had left it years ago. With
tears,he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages.His father had
carefully underlined a verse, Matt 7:11, "And if ye, being evil, know
how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your
Heavenly Father which is in Heaven, give to those who ask Him?"

As he read those words, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible.
It had a tag with the dealers name, the same dealer who had the sports
car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the
words...

do you think he will act in a more Christian manner than his followers?

Let's face it some of the "Christians" on here hardly preach a Christian doctrine at times, certianly not in the way I was taught to believe as a child going to Sunday School.

My parents were both religious people but thankfully they have let me follow my own belief's, never ever did they quote ryhme and verse from the Bible to me.....now that's what I call tolerence and understanding. What about you guys?
