Have you not read it in the good book:
"Yahoo giveth, and Yahoo taketh away..."
Obviously you failed to sacrifice your oxen to Yahooweh...the God of Yahoo!Answers.
Next time, read the memo ;-)

Perhaps they only display the top 10 or 20? and you got bumped by someone?...
I have no clue what criteria they use to determine that...
I suspect that the "top contributor" has something to do with your percentage of "Best Answers" because I see people who have answered over 6000 questions and they are regulars so I'm sure they have answered more than the "top contributor" in this section.. but they don't have that status.

I had TWO top contributor bars last week, but now they're gone. So sad.
Oh, more than 10% best answer? That's probably not going to happen. I can't help mocking people. Plus most people asking questions on here don't want the 'reality' point of view for an answer.

Did you do something that is against the member conduct rules? If you post something that is defamatory, abusive, etc., you are breaking the rules for member conduct. But honestly, I am pretty new around here, so I don't know too much about this site. Maybe it is just a fluke and will return later. Could just be a glitch in how Yahoo is working today.

To be a "appropriate contributor" you want 2 (2) issues: (a million) answer an excellent form of questions in one type; and (2) have a minimum of 10% of those solutions be "suitable answer." merely 10% "suitable solutions" isn't adequate. You gotta shop answering in that type. I lost my "appropriate contributor" badge in video clips because of the fact I bogged down answering in that type yet then have been given it back in one week by using answering lots there because of the fact the previous solutions i might given nonetheless count extensive form in the direction of my totals. So answer lots contained in categories the place you had your badge and you'd be wanting it back top away.

What's "ready to vanish"(Heb8:13) "shall vanish"(1Cor13:8).
Lots of smart @ss web designers are also finding this out.
One minute they're on top, and then poof goes the dragon.
POINT: "Grace" is neither of two "law"s in Mt 22:36-40.
Grace neither tempts(laws) nor can be tempted(lawed).
Therefore and thereby Grace cannot lie(law) nor die(law).
Evidently, from the evidence, you're Law Law does both.
You too can have partiality with an impartial God? Not!
You too can bend over, dble kiss divided @ss bye bye.
More Excellent: neither broadmindead nor narrowmindead.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

They changed the rules on that. You have to have over 10% in best answers to get that status now (I think it's 10, might be 12)

In my opinion, it looks like they are cleaning up in preparation to please the advertisers they plan on selling space to.
I could say a lot more, but don't want to loose my e-mail again.
Look in the guidelines, you might find your answer there.
