...you all are here. Is it because the penguins were ungodly and made flightless as punishment, or is that just a red herring?

BTW, in case anyone was wondering, I somehow seemed to know the right thing to say to make a little penguin's load just that tiny bit lighter yesterday, hence the Empath tag. Well, everyone else changes their name all the time! Sorry, SOME people change their name all the time...

All non-penguins please feel free to answer...

Is he like the number of counting numbers?
Is he like the number of points on a number line between the discrete integers 1 and 2?
Is he like the number of closed curves that can pass through any given line?
Is he vanishingly small?

Could you please define this for me?

Im afraid that if you tell all believers that tomorrow they are going to die all will be so scared inspite of the promise of a better/sweet place called heaven!
Why?

I have flown a few times and not seen it yet, neither has any spacemen? Is it just made up so people believe in this god thing? Sounds like it to me.

If you are a tolerant person from any faith [atheists too] and do not discriminate, are not prejudiced against particular religions and like to share your knowledge, what message would you like to deliver to people from other faiths? You can say anything - this is a tribute to tolerance.
Your words might serve as a precedant for someone somewhere around the world and pull them out of ignorance, for that is what prejudice is.
Cheers & peace.

I often hear that everything is proof of God. Is this the First Cause argument?

To love us? more like We are supposed to love Him ( his reciprocation is highly doubtful since there's so much suffering and I thought if you loved someone, you don't make them suffer)

To protect us? right if we let the protection all up to God, imagine the chaos. All laws are man made folks.
What exactly do you need him for?

Seems to me that the teaching in this prayer is encouraging us to forgive others in the same manner that we experience forgiveness from God.

How would this change the world (hell, how would it change Y!A?

I have been a catholic all my life, went to catholic school for my whole life. However I have recently been moving away from the catholic church and towards christianity. I have over time been gradually considering myself as a christian not catholic. I recently watched a video on the pope being the anti christ which has convinced me further that I should convert to christianity. I really think that this is the right thing to do, however it is hard to break away from something I have been apart of for my whole life. Please give me your thoughts whether you think im doing the right thing.

Why there are 99% of atheists making fun of religion on this topic and only few religious persons actually posting questions that promote faith in God and why you try so hard to persuade others that there is no God when religious people do not spend the same time on yahoo answers trying to persuade others that there is God? Are You people obsessed with evil?

I'm not sure exactly what this means, but an answerer wrote:

"God is holy and he is going to stay holy no matter who gets hurt."

It's obviously not a personal threat (to the asker, it wasn't my question), but I'd be interested to hear any opinions as to just what it does mean.

Is it okay to hurt people who are somehow perceived as a threat to God's holiness? And what could threaten it anyway?

how come in the book of job he's up in heaven making a wager with god that he can make job curse god? also, why does god let him out of hell and torment people on earth? you can't use the free will excuse either. if you're damned to hell for all eternity, you should be in hell, not on earth. if you get sentenced for murder on earth, they don't let you out for good behavior.

is it like the candles represent something like the soul of the dead ? I also do not understand why you enjoy making yourselves cry all the time and bring sad interviews on t.v.! Are you doing this to make the world feel that you are the only ones suffering in this world when a calamaty hits home?

Keep in mind that I am Pagan this is not an attack against Wiccans. It's just that this has always bothered me a bit about Wiccans and other Pagans as well. If all life is sacred then why would an unborn child not count as sacred? Who are we to judge when life starts? If we say that all things including rocks have a living spirit why would that not apply to an unborn child? I do not even follow the Wiccan Rede and yet I would not take the life of an unborn child. I'm just curious as how being Pro-Choice or Pro-Abortion fits into the Wiccan's "Harm None" philosophy?

Or, rather, they give you answers that just look absolutely stupid, or, better yet, they make personal assumptions abuot you, and non-beleivers as a whole?

For instance- there are logical, common-sense explanations the life changes that can occur after you 'accept jesus ect'.. It has been proven that a little FAITH in something non-existant can help you wonders- placebo pills, anyone?

Or resorting to insults of intelligence((these are bandied from both sides, however- chrisitans and atheists are guilty of this, lol)) simply becuase they cannot easily answer((or answer it at all))a question, or respond to a statement that pokes holes OR points OUT the holes in their reasoning..

/c/ in details, of course- I am almost a novel-writer for my questions/answers

Do you think Nuns should be band? Do they scare you? I think they should be band after all the cruelty that goes on and what they have done.

*people in care - they beat them and starved them.
* The Laundy houses where they beat pregnant mothers and took away their babies.
it goes on and on and on.

Have you say what do you think?
