These are people preaching from the pulpit every Sunday about morals....

Telling you and I how we should live our lives.

People look to them for inspiration/direction

Doesn't this make them a hypocrite?

Sure I sin, but I do not stand in front of a bunch of people pounding my fist on the pulpit and telling everyone else what sinners they are.

There is such a double standard among fundamentalists...pick on the gays because they are fewer in numbers...but, oh no stay away from preaching about divorce because it affects too many....

I think pastors and churches are just afraid of losing the divorced people's monetary contribution to the church...so, they look the other way on this sin....

It is true- you always hear believers telling you 'you may think that, but I /know/ I'll be in heaven, and you'll be in hell'..

They refuse to ever accept the FACT that their faith, like my anti-faith, is a mere opinion, but atleast my opinion can be corroborated and proven a little further than theirs can..

Christians say they 'know', but they really dont.. If all it is is 'faith' in god, then for all the world, it is only faith, and not fact.

It is not a proven deal then, that my sexual preferences or personal choices will land me in hell, or that your lack of self-esteem and your need to devote your life and mind to being controlled by a book and false deity will land you in heaven..

Until you, me, EVETYONE dies, we don't /know/..

...R rated movies. Didn't your prophet specifically say not to watch them?

This is one of the few instances I have seen Mormons wimp out on there beliefs... I have a lot of respect for all of you, but this puts a damper on it.

Why do you do it? If you 'know' your prophet is a prophet of God?

Seriously, what in the world possesed them to grow to such enormous heights? Anything over 5'6 is just an error in judgement.

Personally, I don't feel it's very lady like.

Does it bother you knowing that your money says "In God We Trust"? That your constitution is rooted in religion? Do you care? Have you considered moving to a more "non-religious" country?

Is is easier to believe in the Virgin birth if you are yourself of modest sexual needs? Does it become more difficult to believe in the Virgin Mary as your life develop into a frenzy of sexual bewilderments difficult to control? Or if you have conceived in a more usual way?

The Greek word for woman is Gunhv, and it’s the same word Jesus used for the prostitute:

Instead, Jesus showed respect to strange woman, he called the bleeding woman ‘daughter’ and not ‘woman’.

She said to herself, "If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed." Jesus turned and saw her. "Take heart, daughter," he said, "your faith has healed you." And the woman was healed from that moment. (Matthew 9:21-22)

Strangely, Jesus showed respect to the unclean woman, yet dishonors his own mother.

The Bible says those who dishonor the parents are not successful.

Dose this not throw a spanner in the works for believers in God. We know through a thing called proof that the Dino's were on earth millions of years before the first human like mammals. We know that homo-sapiens were not the only people on the earth what about the Neanderthals. It is so crystal clear that evolution dose happen that my five year old worked it out himself by looking at horse skeletons in his book.

Muslims all over the World are horrified by the death and destruction caused by some people in the name of Islam.
I hope this helps both muslims and non-muslims understand why it is so wrong!
It is true that we have permission to defend ourselves from attack, but to attack indiscriminately innocent people is forbidden by GOD.

Don't you think if a man/woman is evil, they are sick? I'd like your thoughts. I don't believe any man/woman was intended to be evil, do you? Isn't the purpose of man/woman to show forth the goodness of God? What could be more wonderful than to see men and women all over the earth living out the real meaning of life? What could be more wonderful than seeing the sickness of evil healed?

It seems like there's a certain pattern here.

For a certain amount of time to a certain amount of time, it's Muslim Bashing hours.

Then it's Christianity Bashing hours,

then it's Atheism Question hours,

then it's Wiccan party hours,

In esoteric religions to do something good is considered the opposite of sin, but not so in Christianity (or is there?). But that too does not contribute to salvation. So what is the opposite of sin, or is mankind inherently sinful and damned?
