Don't you think if a man/woman is evil, they are sick? I'd like your thoughts. I don't believe any man/woman was intended to be evil, do you? Isn't the purpose of man/woman to show forth the goodness of God? What could be more wonderful than to see men and women all over the earth living out the real meaning of life? What could be more wonderful than seeing the sickness of evil healed?

As a Christian I believe the Bible teaches us that Christ came into the world to heal both the body and the spirit of men and women. It is the spirit of man that thinks and commands the body to do that which is evil and thereby to make the body sick. But we also know that "whatever is born of God conquers the world". When we turn to God in faith, we are given a new spirit that walks according to the Spirit. And Jesus came to heal the sick.

As Christians we are hopeful we can reach people like this killer in time that he or she may be brought to Christ and receive this miracle of healing spirit and body. The world has already been saved of many such disasters in this way and may still be saved from many in the future if we are busy working to make disciples of those whom we meet. Yes it is true he may have been given the good news of Jesus Christ and rejected it. We can never rid the world of sin. Only Jesus Christ can rid us of the guilt and shame of our own sin. Amen.

I think, based on the writings of his they found, that he was molested and/or abused as a child and it really messed him up. I dont think he was ever able to talk to anyone about it, and if he did, they probably dismissed it. After years of repressing something like that it obviously messed with his brain. It seems from his writings he had fantasys of killing and torturing whoever it was that hurt him when he was younger.
Im not saying this was the whole reason for what he did, I think he had some problems either way, probably something that could have been dealt with by the use of medication or some good counseling had anyone payed any attention to him before.
So i guess the point was to say, no I dont think he was evil, I think he was sick, very very very sick, but not evil. I find it almost impossible to believe that anyone is born evil.
God gave people free will, so obviously not everyone will choose to be a good person, but if you look at anyone who murders, molests or anything like that, 99% of the time they have a mental illness, maybe untreated, maybe not, but people in there right minds dont commit crimes like this.
And yes, it would be amazing to see the sickness of evil healed. It would be amazing to see the sickness of sickness healed.

I'd say both. A person can be sick without being evil, but can one be evil without being sick (mentally)? You are right, God did not intend on any of his creations to do evil, but he did give us our own free will.

Sick...I don't believe as people we are evil. I don't think anybody is born with the thought of killing themselves or somebody else. We just grow into that state of mind.

EVIL. Mankind is born with the capacity for good AND evil. We are also born with a sinful nature that is at enmity with God. We cannot be good enough or do enough good things to win our salvation. That is why Jesus is God's perfect sacrificial lamb. And God loved mankind enough to offer Himself for our salvation.

those brain dead students at Colounbine, thought they were matcho with their weapons, and didn't have the brain power to distinguish the difference between Reality and Fantisy.

This dude at Virginia Tech, thought his weapon was matcho as well and was mentaly sick.

Any act s like these are wrong, any one who kills them selves after, so no one can do any thing further to them, will have a horrible shock, when they think they are going to be ushered into the after life.

No school or campus is safe any ware.

i'd say sick. he's mentally sick. judging from how his friends described him, i think his mind is full of anger. he dislikes conversation. he'd rather be left alone. we're not sure of what or who he's angry with. this anger doesnt make him evil. it makes him sick. so sick that he juz wanna kill people and somehow i guess he hate everyone, and i guess the most thing he hated was his life. My condolences to victim's family and friends. :(

He was sick. His video tape showed that he was commiting the killings for some cause that he had in his mind, although he wasn't coherent enough for us to figure what exact cause he was thinking of.

I would say he was lonely, sad, hurt and rejected by many..We all have thought of doing things we shouldn't do,,do we do them just because it crossed our path,,no but there are some who think it will make life better,,it is a trap the enemy sets for people...You have to be careful when living for the world,,satan abides here and his propose is to kill, steal and destroy your life....
