Truth,it happens right under our noses that couples who have honored each other in the state of marriage over many years become soul mates,in a Christian marriage both partners are instrumental in bringing one another closer to God and eternal life.
As scripture say`s,For this reason a man shall leave his parents and join himself to his wife, and the two shall become as one`.

Funny that you should ask this question as I have had a strange experience with ths kinda thing. I am not what most would call a believer, rather a skeptic.
But I dated this guy one time. When I first met him I was instantly drawn to him, which really isnt like me. Anyway we dated on and off for about 4 years. I loved him truely and in all reality he is the only person I have ever known that I felt I knew all my life...I felt connected. Oddly though love was not enough and we didnt make it. I always questioned why love was not enough and actually spent alot of time and grief over it.
One night I had a dream that God came to me and I asked him "why love was not enough", that it seemed like we were suppose to be together. In this dream God explained to me that I felt that connectio because we had been together forever, that we were soul mates, but for reasons I couldnt understand we would not be together right now. As odd as it sounds and even though I was skeptical of the dream (figured maybe I just ate something strange the night before) it comforted me.
So long story short I am 50-50 which tends to be my stance on everything that pertains to deeper meanings!

It could be true, I suppose. Got to be careful with that term, though. Lately it has been turned into a "catch phrase" for people who just want to get you in bed. Make sure what kind of person you are hearing it from before you believe it.
