To some extent, yes. I am a law abiding citizen doing mostly what is expected of me. I try to love everyone but if cannot then I avoid interacting with them. I have my limits and seldomly cross them. I feel those who have no conscience can damage the society more than the conformists. The latest example is the carnage at the American University. Too much freedom and choice can be counter productive.
This is not to say that I am not enjoying my life but just living it responsibly.....

To be perfect and make no mistakes, is setting yourself up for failure. No one is perfect. The ability to pick yourself off the ground (people tend to kick people who are already down and out, its so easy for them), and carry on. If you can only raise your head, and look outside "self", its a good start.
Sometimes it takes months to actually get back up, and you can be sure there will be another "kick" coming. My father used to call it - the school of hard knocks - it teaches you a lot about people and society.

Many years ago I made my choice to accept JESUS as my savior since then I am paid up, looking up, packed up, and I am going up one of these days. Jesus lifted all guilt and sin from me. I am not perfect and I must seek that forgiving grace every day but I am a child of the KING adopted into the family of GOD by the blood of HIS SON JESUS and life is wonderful and it will only get better with JESUS.

If one day we would shake off the burden and do what our heart yearns to do ... the ones who love us would be happy for us, the rest could not care less but the only one really feeling the difference would be ourselves. After all, its our adventure.

Sure,it is a common and shared human failing to do this; Two men look out from prison bars, one see`s mud the other see`s stars.

Thankfully, Jesus lifted all those burdens from me... I no longer worry about others and their impressions of me... I live only to honor the King of kings and the Lord our God
