i need this 4 a project

I remember in high school, I went with a friend to their "Christian" church. If I remember correctly, it was Baptist. I looked at a list of Sunday School classes, and was shocked to see a class that basically taught why Catholics, Jews, Muslims, and Mormons were all going to hell. Is such a thing necessary, especially to dedicate a whole class to it? Is such behaviour Christian? My friend got really funny when I asked him about it, and never truly told me why they had such a class. Can anyone shed any light on this?

If so would you mind learning more about Bible even if it is just s confrimation of what you believe about it?

http://www.biblemysteries.com/Lectures.htm

I found this really cool site about a lot of the confirmations of locations and things in the Bible.

It would be nice to have a discussions on these issues.

Email me if you would like to start a group for discussing a lot these matters either on the side of refuting or confirming.

Go about this is the most openminded of ways.

Much love to all

Pretty soon, the right to a woman's body won't be her own. Just as it was medievally. Nice.
Anything else conservatives want to do? Teach that the earth is the center of the solar system? Teach us that the earth and the universe is only 6000 years old?
This slippery slope can only go downwards to disaster folks. Make DAMN sure that the republicans are tossed out of office come the next election.

The Supreme Court has upheld the national ban on partial birth abortion. Pray for all of the victims of abortion.

I break out in hives every time I'm around one of these Willy Wonka short chicks.

I mean, I understand being shorter. That's very feminine. But anything under 5'2 is just dang ridiculous!

Seriously, I do feel like I'm in a horror film when I'm surrounded by girls 5'2 and under. I just want to run and keep running until I find higher ground, or a higher shelf that they won't be able to reach.

"Hi umpa lompa, how is the weather down there? Cold?"

My god! This crap has got to stop!

I just got a violation notice for asking how stupid is it to say Catholics are not Christians. Does anyone else get violation notices for no reason? Does anyone else start violating guidelines intentionally as a result?

I was just answering the question, "how do we get more diversity in church?"

came across this answer from Father K, so i copy and pasted it for you to judge.

"What kind of "diversity"? Diversity of doctrine, diversity of thought, diversity of religious practice, diversity of creeds? They already have something like that called the "Episcopal Church" - and it's self-destructing right before our eyes!

"Diversity for diversity's sake" is poison"

End Quote! Doesn't that sound like something Hitler would have said? Its ridiculous opinions like this that stem hate and create voids in our communities. I believe diversity is the greatest thing you can have, the more points of view, information, you have the more educated your choices would be able to make. maybe if the church allowed diversity they would not be struggling to keep people showing up.

What do you think about Father K's statement? the Scariest part is he is a "top contributor" in the religion section.

As I recall, Jesus was hard on religious people he didn't agree with:

"26 ¶ Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
27 ¶ Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, Acts 23.3 which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity."

In 2007, we might call the utterer of such words a __________________.
