my neice is getting baptised and i am going to be her godfather, am i supposed to get her a gift? what do i get her?

maybe a necklace with a cross, or a charm with St. Christopher on it, look him up. or maybe some savings bonds.

I think Godfathers and Godparents of anybody---it is like the family telling you that if anything ever happened to THEM---they want YOU to take their child and raise it as your own.
So, CONGRATULATIONS!
Get it a money card from somewhere or just money in an envelope.
I KNOW, I KNOW, I KNOW-----Get her a savings bond from the bank--whatever you can afford--like $25. or $50.
They would LOVE that!!

money. unless you think your sis will just blow it on herself, otherwise get her a cool stuffed animal or something, i always loved those.
