I agree with you. However, you should appreciate that there is no uniformity of opinion in the R&S forum. Liberals and atheists appreciate the value of diversity of opinion. Fascists and Christians seek to enforce uniformity of belief. In fact, the whole point of organized religion is apparently to create congregations of bigots who share uniform values. The two groups are now so polarized that nothing but mutual hatred seems possible. I'd love to find a suitable middle ground where we can share our common humanity without rancor. Frankly, I don't think it's possible when dealing with two opposing populations of angry idealogues

My experience here has taught me there is no such thing as a humorous non-mocking question. It's either one or the other. The problem is that Christians take this stuff way too seriously. I guess having faith requires you to give up your sense of humor....
