You're speaking Chinese to most of these people. They don't even know what the word "infinite" means.

Think of eternity, it lasts forever.
Now think of 1000 years, or ten million years, a long stretch of time, but that can not be compared to unending eternity. It would be like trying to compare a finite number to an infinite number.
I think you are trying to discribe it through calculus, and the best way to do this is to imagine the limit as x approached infinity. The line goes on forever but never actually touches 0 on the x-axis. So that theoritical "limit", which mathematically is infinity, would be, in a sense, God.

All of these and none of these. He is the Alpha and Omega - the beginning and end of all things. He is the neverending line and the infinite circle. He is the smallest part of the smallest atom and He is the very last star in the universe. A part of Him is in everything and everything is a part of him - intangible and concrete, every thought, word, and action is Him. Nothing is not Him. He is energy, space, and time. He is everywhere, everything, all of the time.
Does that help or just make it worse?

God is the result of human abstraction and the ultimate goal of realization of all human pursuits. Infinite or infinitesimal are only projections of human mind trying to seek some form of definition in a relativistic and universally accepted manner based on common experiences and thought patterns. Numbers merely qualify multiplicity of things that are observed objectively but the subject observer will always remain one and the same. If we say that there is but only one God we mean that inspite of infinite(ie. beyond our capability of counting ) things of observation distinctly and definitively we actually reckon only two entities, namely, our subjective self and God manifest in all infinite observations. But since all our observations are subjected to a sense of separation in a defined manner of Space-Time continuum (such as unit measures defined by us humans relativistic to the Earth) we happen to attribute our obsevations to God as some one /thing that is infinite. Thus we fail to realize ultimately the stratum between the multiplicity of projected observations and the content that is common to both the observer and objects . Scriptures say that the common stratum is only the Mind Consciousness which is always positively accepted and taken for granted as long as the mind is not acting projectively but actively differentiates orthoganally keeping the subject to the vertical axis and all observations on a horizontal plane tracing the mind consciousness as a common link of intersection.

I can't define God's infinite Greatness in physical terms or words. Is that good enough for how infinite He is? :)

Finite, having a discernable beginning and a certain end
Infinite, having no beginning and no end.
God is infinite and we cannot grasp the concept as we are finite.

He has no beginning and no end. He is IT. All you speak of is His creation. Our finite minds can not comprehend just how great He is. Repent and be baptized and you can ask Him yourself someday. This life is short. Your one day closer to death than you were yesterday. Peace out..............

He is the singularity at the begining of what we call time. We are all a part of that.
