I would like to instill a sense of calm to the world. We should not show anger to those that are diffrent, but instead embrace those that have diffrent things to teach us. We do not have to belive what someone else belives, but we should still have an understanding of it. Through this philosphy, (and that is an extremly dumbed down example of it) I would hope to obtain a worlds where people can remain diffrent, but still have the common ground of being human.

The beautiful thing about a philosophy is that anyone of any faith can follow a philosophy as it doesn't try to take the place of their religon.

Simon I agree with your outlook. I have nothing but respect for soldiers and all that they do. I also realize that the war they are fighting all boils down to people in power that couldn't tolerate the others point of view. I realize there will never truly be peace as long as their is diffrence, unless we can, as a whole planet, agree that diffrences are not a just cause for whole scale war and murder.

May all innocents have peace in this time of great chaos. It pains me to no end that innocent people die, while the ones who instigate the fight watch comfortably the chaos they inflict. I wonder if people would scream for war so loudly if their children were in the middle of the battlefield.

don't we need it. i'm looking over the civil rights movement right now and it seems an appropriate place for you to gain knowledge.

Malcolm X was talking to people who had no idea they were racist. They blocked out everything he said and fought him at every turn, but he kept talking. Amazing. Many parralels and predictions from the time too.

Huh. Well, alrighty-then, Mr. John C. I don't think there is anything wrong with making up your own philosophy. I think that if everyone were more enlightened in the way that you just proposed (which by the way, is also how I choose live my life) the world would easliy be a much better place.

First of all philosophy alone is not going to sort out the problems in this world, there are ways to get to the completeness of peace....but, not by reading a lot of
men are out there fighting for what is right, and the sacrifices
that they make in the fight for peace needs to not be made
light of....I can stand in the rain and read a book about
a philosophical question in a quest for peace, while other
people are out there fighting a war on crime and terror.............

There needs to be an effort to support a peace, while supporting these men and women as well as meeting
their needs......................................................................................

I support those in the fight for peace and against crime and
terror....this is an important thing for everyone out there to
understand.......................................................................................

Philosophy is all good, as long as it doesn't interfere with religion.

I believe I have a similar philosophy as you do:

Live your life, worship your God, don't judge others, and treat others as you would love to be treated yourself.

Also, if anyone breaks those rules, you have every right to kick their ***.
