Gates made of pearl: A single pearl composes each of the gates.
Streets of Gold: Gold in its purest form is transparent, so the streets will likely be transparent.
Glassy Sea: I don't know, really clear water.
Aspects retained: few if any. The Bible doesn't give much info on heaven, ust to keep it all interesting.

Hi Teresa,I expect Heaven to be so incredible that I could not even begin to guess what it is like.
I think the great aspect of relationship will be retained and enhanced beyond our imagination in Heaven.

Heaven is the perfect environment for all believers to live eternally. All God's creation which God had said is good will be in heaven. See 1 Cor 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. So as all creation suffered and subject to death when Adam sinned, all creation is saved when Jesus saves.

Hi Teresa!
Honestly, I have not thought about this for a while because I have had so many things I am wrestling with. For my part, I am looking forward to being able to REALLY think, unhindered and unhampered by sin, pain, weariness, negative emotions or any other such thing. I can hardly wait for this! CS Lewis compared this life to wearing ill fitting dirty, wet clothing. Imagine what it will be like to have a clean, comfortable, perfectly fitting life - amazing! I look forward to a new mind with every trace of the negative wiped away.

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9).
When we arrive in Heaven, we will not have anything to complain about or be saddened by. Revelation 21:4 tells us, “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” For a detailed description of Heaven, see Revelation chapters 21-22. Once we arrive in Heaven, we will be glorified and perfect. Our hearts, attitudes, and thoughts will be completely in agreement with God (1 John 3:2).
In Luke 23:43, Jesus declared, "Truly I say to you, Today you shall be with Me in Paradise" (Luke 23:43). The word Jesus used for paradise is paradeisos which means "a park, that is, (specifically) an Eden (place of future happiness, paradise)". Paradeisos is the a Greek word taken from the Hebrew word pardes which means "a park: - forest, orchard" (Strong's). Jesus said "Today you shall be with Me "en paradeisos" not "en nephele" which is Greek for in clouds. The point being that Jesus picked and used the word for a park. Not just any park but "the paradise of God" or park of God (Revelations 2:7) which for us will be a place of future happiness.

Read the book of Revelation. It will give you a description of "New Jerusalem". It will be a physical entity. We will have physical bodies, yet in different forms. Other than what is in Revelation, I don't know. I do hope that there are at least dogs. What a marvelous creation! And what is DOG spelled backwards?
