Just about any TV show, movie, magazine, video game, or newspaper can be just as "earthy" or violent as the Bible.

You are the parent and as such you are responsible for supervising the media (including books, movies, TV, newspapers, magazines, and the Internet) to which your children are exposed.

In addition, all education, including religious education, needs to be directed at the age and maturity of the learner.

With love in Christ.

I believe you're being facetious and are not looking for an honest answer. But, I guess I have time on my hands because I feel like answering anyway...

The Bible does not present these events in a gross or perverted way, with the attention of tantalizing (the way today's media does).

With a parent's guidance, all of these stories can be discussed in a mature way with children. And the children will benefit from the moral lessons. Would you rather your children learn about these topics from school friends and TV, or from you and the Bible?

Perhaps you're worried that your children will read these things when you're not paying attention and get a little chuckle from it. Well, just be glad they're reading the Bible at all. As they grow they will gain wisdom and understanding. Let them know that if they have questions about what they read, they can always ask you or a Sunday School teacher, etc.

Of course you can always get a Children's Bible if you're really worried about it.

By the way, isn't the Bible amazing? It truly has everything in it, doesn't it?
