In the book of Daniel, King Nebuchadnezar dreamed of a statue hit by a stone. does it not resemble WTC 9/11?

I'm really sorry to have brought this up, but it had bothered me since sep 13. When the images of the WTC crumbling down like dust so looked like the images being described in the bible's book of daniel somewhere in chapter 2. wherein the statue symbolized kingdoms that will rule the earth in succession, and in the time of the last kingdom, a stone came out of nowhere, hit the statue and it fell into pieces. I have though about this for some time already as you might have thought, but now that I have some opportunity to ask, I only found this site last month, and I want to know if anyone else have found these to be a prediction for the events in 9/11. I personally dont find the nostradamus predictions to be good because its so broad, and could be interpreted in many different ways. Any thoughts on this?

the 1st world empire in the beginning of genesis was babylon(gold), the second medes-persian(silver), the 3rd greek(brass), and the fourth world empire the roman empire(iron) goes all the way to the end of the world. pagan head of rome received the wound unto death but was revived with the papal head of rome(the beast whose head was wounded unto death but was healed). rome splits down into the feet. did you notice in the 1950's we had 2 world leaders, eisenhower means iron(america), and kruschev means clay(russia) they were both representing five countries(the five toes) at a meeting and kruschev took off his shoe and started beating the podium basically that was drawing attention to his feet. showing us where we are at exactly. according to daniel's vision the rock hewn out of the mountain strikes that image. that was the rock in moses day that he smote twice out of anger and kept him from entering into the promised land. so now we know the one foot of rome is america and the other is russia. since america is identified as iron like rome my belief is that that rock does strike this nation and I believe it did. according to brother william branham, that rock sits in tucson, az thus fulfilling the prophecy. www.branham.org you may read his sermons online or purchase all 1182 at www.daysofthevoice.com for only $15. www.leevayle.net series on godhead, rapture, presence, and paradox are very good.

I had never heard, no planes at WTC, but about the Pentagon. Of course, finding the actual nose of the plane means nothing to these people. Charlie Sheen is one of the people who says it was an inside job. As stated before, it would have taken 1000 upon 1000's of people being involved in the cover up and someone would have slipped up and said something. Every time there is something that is hard to believe, there will be a conspiracy theory out there. Grassy Knoll, the magic bullet, George Bush and a few people run the world. Why do you think the Da Vinci Code was so popular when all historians have debunked what was said in the book. People want controversy, whether there is any or not.

Hi,
This prophecy in Daniel was meant to tell King N. (sorry, I can't spell it!) that his kingdom, as well as others, would eventually fall, because they are the kingdoms of this world. The statue represented the Babylonians, (the head) as well as the Persians and Medes, the Greeks, and the Roman Empire, which were the legs. The "stone cut without hands" represents Christ and His gospel which will "fill the whole earth", showing that Christ's kingdom was what brought down the faulty kingdoms of men.
It's an actually pretty awesome prophecy, and has already come true, but came true over 2000 years ago, when Christ was born.
That was a good question, though...the book of Daniel is a complex one, and sometimes hard to understand.

It clearly state that the image represented world ruling kingdoms.
With Babylon being the first,then the Medes and Persians.
Greco Macedonians.
Finally followed by the Roman Empire, one responder stated that the Roman Empire died, it did but was resurected.
It was to have ten fullfillments, 9 have come and gone with Hitlers aliance with Mussolini being the 9th.After the first three it was called the "Holy Roman Empire"
The EU in its current form is the last, they will go from 25 nations to 10
Later in Daniel it speaks of a king of the North "in the latter days"
A King of the south will "push" at him, we are witnessing it right now with Iran. They will unite the Muslin world under their radical view of Islam.
Catholicism, led by the pope and the leader of the EU who will be Edmond Stoiber, will wipe them off the face of the earth.
Then it says news out of the east shall trouble him, this is Russia, China, and the rest of asia. It speaks of a 200 million man army.
No group on earth could put together an army this big.
Soiber did not wn the German election, the man that will lead the EU is said to come in by flatteries and not a dignified way.

In short the inage had two legs, east and west, in the old days his was Rome and Canstantinople. The two capitals of the roman empire.
Today 5 countires will come from the west and 5 from the east.

Woman= Church(true church is reffered to as a virgin)
Whore= Great false church, we should all know who this is, why its the Catholic church. The largest most powerful church on earth, with a throne no less.
Antichrist= one who fights against Christ, this man(bible say there are many anti christs) will give his power to the woman who rides the beast.
This woman(false church) will ride an empire that is called the beast as in "who is able to make war with the beast?"

King nebuchenezer was the first world leader, then many famous manes would follow,
Alnxander the great is mentioned, when he died his empire was divided to his four generals.(to the four winds)
Charlemegne and Nepolean were others.
But by far the worst is about to appear, he will make the others look like a walk in the park.
Look for him to be in power very soon, the Germans love a strong leader in times of trouble, as soon as the palistinians attack Jerusalem then the **** will hit the fan.
Lastly if the beast is a government then what is its mark?

Look at history, the Catholic church has killed millions for not worshipping on Sunday, up till the 4th century all went to church on Saturday. Then it was decreed at the council of Nicea by the leader of the Roman empire that sunday was the day of worship. anyone that did not observe this would be put to death.

I find it interesting that you state Nostradamus is too broad, but then draw a conclusion between a vague event (a rock destroying a statue) and a concrete event 200 years later.

It seems to me that would be like me claiming the cavemen predicted ivory poaching because they drew 'elephants' being hunted on the walls of their caves...

Isaiah 30 is mentioned as a warning to 9-11.
Read it and don't try to get a word for word translation but a general warning as unto the children of Israel.

If you want to link a bible story to a modern event, there's more than one event it could be linked to.
