do Jesus's teachings words mean anything to you?? like when he says this..........

5"And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 6But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. 7And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.
8"Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. 9In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11Give us this day our daily bread.
12And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

14"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Nice one, thank you from an atheist who is sick of seeing "prayer requests" for anything, let alone for matching kitchen appliances, or to stop the leaks in their newly renovated bathroom.

VERY GOOD. Prayer has been suppressed in too many places these days. I hope there isn't even more suppression. In Church, we all pray together. I think there is a time and place for things. Prayer in private would help a person to concentrate and there would be far fewer things to distract a person. Hopefully prayer in public would show unity, thanks, praise. Prayer in public should not be for the honor of the person saying the prayer. The honor should go to the one (God) they are praying to. Thank You. God Bless.....

Prayer is more of a personal relationship that you have with God...It is how we express out feelings to him. For things we are thankful for...things we are struggling with.... Not something that is done for show in public. We should pray to God in everything we do. Online or in School is a public show... :)

Quick question though, in the Lords prayer did you notice where it says: "Your will be done on Earth" ...well read this article.......

The First Amendment guarantees us the right to pray wherever and whenever we want. The state cannot stop us from the free exercise of religion. Also, the state cannot compel us to pray.

All restrictions are on the state. There are no restrictions on the individual, concerning the free exercise of religion. People need to know this. They sure aren't going to learn it in the public (government) schools.

Get a copy of the Constitution and read it for yourself. Find out what your Rights really are. Don't depend on the fools in the Supreme Court to tell you what it means. It is written in plain English, our common language.

Schizoid delusional mental disorder can evolve into full blown mental disease like in the recent example in Virginia.
It's really not a good idea to encourage delusional behaviors. Seeking early treatment would be a more prudent idea.

online is not a a place to pray lol. i'm sure god could tell you that but ill go ahead and tell you anyway. Online is a big roleplaying, learning, porn watching, hacking, pirating software, ect place. prayer is excluded. however you can pray to your computer and im sure god will still hear. although he/she might laugh.
