From what I understand of the Mormon religion The prophet Jo smith said something about Twin phrophets apeering in 1844 to bring in the Mellinial Dispansation? The Bab Revled that he was a messenger from god in 1844 and told his folowers about the comeing of Baha'u'llah. Baha'i's think Baha'u'llah was the return of the spirit of truth (christ) The Glory of god, who brought new teachings for the new age, or the Melinial Dispensation. I'm sorry for my poor spelling ability, but why diden't Mormons all become Baha'i's when they found out? Or have the Mormons just never heard of the Baha'i's cause the faith was founded in Iran?

All the atheist trolls spend their whole day mocking religion, but if anything comes up mocking atheism, its deleted. You know its true. I dont give a rip about which ones right or not. Its just not right. Its unconstitutional.

Discuss.

i remember when i was a christian i did the same things, pushing my beliefs where there unwanted, but the act of being "saved" makes u believe w/o a doubt that its true and unbelievers burn in hell, so u want to bash it in ppls heads cuz u love or care about them, which is kinda nice when u think about it......but why not for once cant christians (the pushy ones) leave the "unsaved" alone, cuz we dont believe at all about hell or heaven so we dont care the slightest, we think the bible is just a book, because theres no proof it is holy or true. its just a book to us. so im just writing this to ask u all if u can lay off the crazy cult actions, and keep to urself until someone asks for ur input. and no i dont want to hear anyone say im lost and corrupt or anything, just plz lay off, thx

If the man who knew Jesus, was allegedly hand-picked by Jesus to lead his flock, never insisted on his own infallibility as a matter of faith, why do modern popes insist that you believe them incapable of error?

Does it not seem arrogant to you that modern popes hold themselves to be more infallible than did Peter?

At the Council of Nicaea, held A.D. 325, Arius came out with his premisses, which nearly broke asunder the Catholic Union.
Seventeen bishops defended the doctrines of Arius, who was exiled for them. Nevertheless, thirty years after, A.D. 355, at the Council of Milan, three hundred bishops signed a letter of adherence to the Arian views, notwithstanding that ten years earlier, A.D. 345, at a new Council of Antioch, the Eusebians had proclaimed that Jesus Christ was the Son of God and One with His Father.

True or False?

Looking back, I've noted that there seems to be twice as many such "postings", though many can't really be called questions, in the last month than any given month since I've been monitoring this subject using the keywords JW, Jehova, and Jehovah.

Could this be because the Independent PBS documentary "Knocking" will be broadcast soon?

Or, is it because in the 7 months it has been available to purchase, no one has been able to come up with an "INDEPENDENTLY PRODUCED" counter video?

Especially when at least one person or more whom you love passes away? Also with persistent traumatic memories or traumatic flashbacks?
Any suggestions or resources? Online or books, etc. that may help in the healing process and supergluing the broken pieces back together almost like new?

I sorta argued with a someone just now. It's sad to see how some people refuse to listen. It saddens me.

"They would not listen, they're not listening still. Perhaps they never will."

Sigh.

ts confusing to me how people try and disprove Mormons like its bad or evil. Especially when they(the criticism) belong to Catholicism or something like it. Mormons are good people, with a nice religion. They are not raping your children or even criticising you. You are not going to prove its wrong, just like god or any other religion. Chances are its wrong, chances are god doesn't exist. Let people believe what they want, especially if they are good people that only make the world a better place. Catholics on the other hand hurt the world, why not make a hate goal against them instead of mormons? And one more thing, why the hell do so many STUPID christians go against mormonism likes its their goal in life? Do you not realize you are contradicting your own beliefs? Idiots. Just for the record, I grew up mormon but have not believed in a personal god since I was around 15.

My grandpa just went off for no reason because he's always right, so argumentive blah,, blah,, blah,,

Well anyhow, he called me a fool. I'm going to use his own book to show him how "wise and noble" he truly is:

Matthew 5:22 ... And whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire.

So, doesn't this mean if you call someone a fool, you're going to hell?

God Bless.

This is for those pro-choice people who use rape as their only legitimate excuse for abortion.
Say that ONLY girls who are victims of rape/incest are allowed to have abortions (and have contacted police)...would that be alright with you? If you cannot agree with that, then rape is definitely not the best excuse for murdering an 'unwanted' child.....

To me religion is becoming a fad. Inspite new information that questions the authenticity of all religious branches, people still have a desire to worship. Is this a growing fad amongst society?
