Hey, Q, we can be ecumenical about this... Anyone can drink when someone asks:

Why are atheists on R&S?
Isn't it better to believe in God?
If we came from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?

Or variations of the above.

Exactly.

The same stupid questions get asked so often that somebody invented a drinking game.

I would remember who if I hadn't been hammered for the last few months.

I just answered this same question for another newbie....bless your innocent hearts before this gang tears them out and stomps on them for you....
Here is the same answer for you:
Just in case you didn't know, the atheists on this board have what they call "drinking games"....one of them is this: whenever they see a question that smacks of Pascal's Wager (like the one you posted), they all have a drink.
It's quirky, but they like it....and it gives them a hobby, I suppose. It definitely beats actually having to examine their faith...excuse me, lack of faith, I keep forgetting...and actually answer the question honestly. At least, they seem to think it does, anyhow.
Only, I suspect that they are beginning to post some of these questions themselves, just to have the excuse to take a drink.
Whatever works, I guess.....

EDIT:
Q and Bad Squirrel, Christians did have a bit of a thing for a day or two, having a drink whenever one of you atheists mentioned pink unicorns or leprachauns and such....we just couldn't keep up with it. I was drinking straight pepsi, and went to plain water...and still couldn't keep up with it.
So we dropped it.

Bottoms are up!

Edit: Q (answer above me) is wrong. Christians drink when atheists ask why God won't heal amputees. Or at least they should!

I think you answered your own question when you said,
"everytime someone asks a STUPID question".

I don't think you should group an entire group of people into any category.

Their great wisdom has made them so happy that they need to temper their enthusiasm by dulling their wits.
