I suppose trying to explain spirituality to an nonspiritual person is rather like trying to explain sexuality to a five year old.
You must be born again.

Think it describes a dance or music.

As relates to Religion and a Christian, the former is dogma the later a relationship.

It is no more pretentious than science is a complete fraud executed by pseudo intellects who can not even state what gravity is, nor how the universe was formed. It is an atheists reliance upon this fraud science that is used to spurn a higher concept than they can comprehend, being the existence of God.

Honestly, educated =indoctrinated.

Here are a group of wannabe smart asses that rely upon a discipline known as science that can't even tell you what gravity is and it is from that discipline of zero knowledge of even what gravity is that they would profess that spiritualism is a load? To me that is a complete and total jack ***.

I'll take a stab.

That which is not spiritual is your regular perception, those ideas that make up the self. That which is considered spiritual would be that beyond your normal perceptions and ideas a great undefinable infinite mystery that cannot be defined yet one which you are somehow a part of.

If you were to consider youself spiritual then you would be continually embracing this mystery.

spirituality is quite vague I just hope this didn't sound stupid.

You live in the Western world don't you?

They borrowed that term from the East, messed it up, and made Christianity.
Well, even a lot of the stuff in the East is BS but not all of it...oh well.

It doesn't really pertain to everyday life, but Buddhism and Hinduism have it.

Kind of like philosophy, but with the word God thrown in to give it more credentials.

Don't look for it in the Bible, it isn't there.

Oh yeah!
"I'm not religious, but I'm very spiritual---in my own way."
It means I have a god---but s/he answers to ME. I have my own beliefs, that are better and smarter than yours so dont you dare challenge them! I'm too good to worry about what you ignorant rubes say that the creator of the universe warned us about, or what his son did for me. I have a Yoga class, excuse me.

yes,...... because promoting a philosophy using terms that are vague and sketchy, simply crumbles when looked at in detail.....
