Religion & Spirituality - 17 April 2007

Well, since atheists have done this to annoying questions, I propose we do the same. Let's have a drink(In case you are going to fire at me, of course I meant non-alcoholic drinks ;) ) everytime these questions are asked:

1. Islam being violent and all.
2. Out of context Qur'an verses
3. Verse 4:34 about that women thing.
4. Why do women have to cover but not men?
5. Why do Muslims want to kill everyone non-muslim?

I've always thought that they're just another example of good guys (Harry Potter, Dumbledore etc) versus bad (Voldermort). Surely it's not a bad thing to show good truimphing over evil?

i would like to live where there are more Jehova,s Wittnesses, i think they make better neighbors, i do not look down on the neighbors who are in my close proximity now, but i would prefer neighbors who are quiet and respectful, who do not drink and smoke, neighbors who understand or have some formal training and knowledge of scriptures, my neighbors do not seem to like the JWs, but i do, what is that that makes some people not want the JWs to come around, they are honest and sincere aren,t they,they do not rob, and are not desrespectful, they are neat and clean, quiet, so what is there not to like

If Jesus came to save humanity from their sins, including the sins passed down through the generations from Adam and Eve, why did he take so long?

Think of all the innocent people who were sent to hell and torment for years becaquse they may have done nothing more wrong than be decended from A&E.

What about the people who stole a loaf or bread from a wealthy baker to feed their starving family? Did they do to hell too?

And the people who happened to like other people of the same sex but treated everyone else with dignity and respect? Did they go to hell too? Oh, wait... i forgot... they still go to hell, don't they? Such a tolerant religion.

why women are being denied something they were entiled to in the early church? Many of my women friends are incensed by the church's action. They are capable and actually serve in many roles designated to deacons even now without recognition. Why is the catholic church stuck in such a political and traditional rut?
