Everyday is the Sabbath Day for me because everyday I choose God's way in the things I say and do.
God said keep the Sabbath day holy. He to rested on the seventh day after creating six days. I don't imagine that He minds which day we choose Sat. or Sun. as long as we are in agreement and keep it HOLY. God bless you.<><

The Sabbath was given to Israel, not the church. The Sabbath is still Saturday, not Sunday, and has never been changed. But the Sabbath is part of the Old Testament Law, and Christians are free from the bondage of the Law (Galatians 4:1-26; Romans 6:14). Sabbath keeping is not required of the Christian—be it Saturday or Sunday. The first day of the week, Sunday, the Lord's Day (Revelation 1:10) celebrates the New Creation, with Christ as our resurrected Head. We are not obligated to follow the Mosaic Sabbath—resting, but are now free to follow the risen Christ—serving. The Apostle Paul said that each individual Christian should decide whether to observe a Sabbath rest, “One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind” (Romans 14:5). We are to worship God every day, not just on Saturday or Sunday.

The Sabbath day runs in a seven day period beginning with Sunday. "Sun"day is actually the beginning of the week.

The Sabbath day is the day of rest, which is Saturday according to Christian and biblical belief. The reason why it was changed from Sabbath day into Saturday is because the planet Saturn is supposedly the seventh planet that aligns up North with the compass on the seventh day.

It has been changed to say "Saturn"day or shorter Saturday.

In Genesis it Says "God rested on the Seventh-day"

now later on in the 10 commandments it is also said to be the Seventh-day.

There are places where it is talked about 1 day in 7.

Now the NAME of the day could have just as easy been "Brown" day, if the days of the week were named after colors.

(The Name itself means nothing) but our calenders show Saturday as being the seventh-day of the week so therefore it is Kept on Saturday.

In the New Testament Paul mentions to bring your offerings on the first day of the week (until he got there) so that the offerings would all be in...

Whether or not Christians worshiped on the First day right then or just brought the offerings so that it would not get in the way when they did meet for worship I don't know.

But somewhere along the line the First day (which happens to be named Sunday) became the day of worship for the Christians.

As a Christian I hold no day holier than another for we are to worship the Lord everyday 24/7...

The Sabbath day is from Friday night to Saturday night. The Christians adopted Sunday as the day of rest because it is supposed to be the day Christ rose from the dead (not true, by the way, but then that involves a whole lot of studying). It was also an anti-Jewish thing, as a backlash against the "murderers of Christ".

the sabbath is saturday

the week begins with Sunday, and ends with saturday, but most people consider sunday the end of the week because it's a day off.

the sabbath is the seventh day, god started on sunday, finished on a friday, and took saturday as his day of rest.

It's not really a day. And it's not really called the Sabbath, it's Shabbat.
It goes from sundown on Friday to sundown on Saturday.

"Jewish law's definition defines a day as ending at dusk and nightfall, which is when the next day then begins. Thus, Shabbat begins before sundown Friday night and ends at after nightfall Saturday night (traditionally, after three stars can be seen in the sky)."

I'm going to start by presuming that you're asking about the Sabbath in relation to the Jewish and Christian faiths.

The answer is Saturday. Why? Because that is the Jewish Sabbath (Shabbot), and if we're to believe even the Christian bible, Jesus himself was a Jew - who would have observed Saturday as Shabbot. Nowhere in either Jewish scripture OR in what Jesus allegedly said (as per the gospels) was there to be a change to this day. :)

Its Saturday. The last day of the week. The Catholic Church changed it to Sunday, but it is still Saturday.

Saturday.
The Sabbath is not the first day of the week (Sunday), as many believe, but the seventh day (Saturday).

"The seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God." Exodus 20:10.
