I believe in God and Jesus dying for my sins but I just can't bring my self to go to church. Sure, I am lazy but that can't be the only way to heaven. Which I believe exists. Can I just ask for forgiveness of my sins on my own? Will I be forgiven? Is the church the funnel to God and heaven or can I make it on my own? What about homestudy for this kind of thing? I am being serious, this causes me some concern and I think about it a lot.

Dan 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
Dan 8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
Dan 8:25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

Jer 1:4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Jer 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

could we build our own civilization at the center of the earth, assuming the earth isn't destroyed in the process? I was thinking we could let all the religious fanatics have the crust. Also assuming they aren't right and the inside of the inner core doesn't turn out be hell or something.

Chapter 21:
"...Jesus sent 2 disciples, saying to them, "Go into the village ahead of you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her; untie them and bring them to me....
The disciples went and did as Jesus had directed them; they brought the donkey and the colt, and put their cloaks on them, and he sat on them."

I am just having trouble envisioning how he sat on both of them, and why?

Please be respectful in your answers, thanks.

Do you think this might happen?

If so, why?

If not, why not?

Do you have any sense of when His return could happen?

What events would you have to witness (or have already witnessed) that would fortell His return?

Children behave because they fear punishment.
Fundamentalists believe because they fear punishment.
Is there a correlation here?

I use to read, and on Wednesday nights my Pastor would read through the Bible through the year.
I moved from the city to the country 200 miles from everyone and everything I knew. I didn't have anyone to spiritually feed my soul anymore. Spiritually dry and what I call alot of white magic.
But back in 1999 I got such a hunger for the Word of God and began to read it with an understanding I'd never known before. Now I love it, and love to hear others preach or share it.
These are the scriptures God got a hold of me with...
Hebrews 5:11-14 check it out!
God bless you.<><

It's simple:
The world operates:Evidence first, faith later.

But God is not the world,God is not the universe, and God is not science,we must approach God differently than we approach things in the universe.

God commands:faith first, evidence later.

Is it really that hard to swap evidence then faith to faith then evidence? And to do the corresponding actions that go with that faith so you can recieve the evidence from God?

I mean he lived 500 years before Christ, so how did he predict, the changing of the guard, from 1 regime to another, down to today where we are have Roman ideas raging through our societies (from laws to religion to the fact that nations cannot work consistantly together Dan 2:41-43)

Shouldn't we discount the parts that the Christians adopted from them?

If all ancient Babylonian religious stories are fables, shouldn't we discount the ones that the Jews adopted during the Babylonian Exile?

If all ancient Egyptian beliefs are false, shouldn't we discount the Resurrection, since the idea was taken from the Egyptians and not the Hebrew Bible?

If the ancient Sacraments of Mithras and Dionysus are pointless, shouldn't we consider the modified version that the Christians copied from them equally pointless?

If you laugh at the Ascension of the Deified Julius Caesar to the Heavens, on a comet, as witnessed by many and testified to under oath in front of the Roman Senate, shouldn't you also laugh at the conflicting tales of the Ascension of Jesus, remembered by no one but invented long after he had died?

Bush and the neo cons play the God card, but Jesus could have killed many more people with Gods help when he was on earth, so why did God allow the neo cons to commit mass murder on their behalf?

None of this back door nonsense now. If you say "it wasn't really god talking to her" then you are only admitting that it's not really god talking to you either.

So says Jehovah,
the King of Israel,
and His redeemer Jehovah of Hosts;
I am the first,
